Cool. As far as I am aware, this is the most demanding FOSS game out there. Hope to give it a go sometime.

Looks interesting. I dropped it 25$. I'll have to watch that video again, however, as there are a lot of new game mechanics that I am not used to in a first person shooter.

Quoting: berarmaI'll be disappointed if they don't fix the DRM-free version. I couldn't finish the game due to crashes. It's a pity.
I will give Hamish and you the email of the guy I spoke to at Frozenbyte as he's been quick to respond. It most certainly would not hurt to try.

Major Trine Update Coming & Linux Version Heading To Steam

Quoting: Quote from BewareOfFrozenbyteI dislike this developer they never updated their Desura build (once they were on steam they ignored everything else...) and i'm still waiting for Splot
When I spoke with one of the guys there, he was very nice and forthcoming as well as quick to respond. Why not pop them an email asking about the Desura build and whatever Splot is?

That was what prompted me to start trying to get in touch with them. They're not really likely to have a "We've given up on finding somebody, so the position is no longer available." page. I'm be keen to have just a little bit more confirmation (and some information on what their plans are if we can get ahold of that).

So far I've tried two or three (the press and engine inquiries were the first that I tried), but I'm going to continue until we hear something, or see a CryEngine title in the wild.
Please try all three emails in the bottom right corner as well.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance, First CryEngine Game To Support Linux

Quoting: Quote from OrkultusWe really need a update on the state of the Cryengine port to Linux. I know the job was up, and its not up anymore..but does that mean they found someone? or did they take it down because they didn't? Anyway.. a update about it would be nice to hear. Also if they are porting the engine, i am sure that they are testing one of their games on it as well. So it could be possible that they may release something to Linux (Crysis, Crysis 2) when it is finished. Who knows. WE JUST NEED A UPDATE. The developers who use cryengine def do.
Crytek did find someone for the job.

Crytek has an email for general inquiries, an email for press related inquiries, and an email for CryEngine related inquiries. Then there are three further emails one can use in the press section. Have you guys tried all six emails?
