I have too many games that I want to play but cannot play due to time reason. As a result I only support practices I like (to succeed). Meaning I don't but these games at all. Similar, I only buy games with Linux versions. And only full price only if it's a day-1 release (or at the very least never has been discounted before).
Ofc there might be exceptions if you really want to play but I try to stick with these rules as much as possible.

Makes me sad. STRAFE was one of the games I'm looking forward to play the most. But well, if it's not a day-1 release changes are I will wait for a sale.
Razer looking to improve Linux support on their 'Blade' series of laptops

The new one doesn't have any screen tearing. it has a gsync display which works perfectly. ofc might be bcecasue I disabled the intel GPU in the bios. The old one had but only for videos not for games. At least I didn't notice in any game. There was a workaround for videos I believe but didn't really care since I use chrome cast with my TV for this. Sure it sucks of you want to on the notebook or a connected display but I'm sure there was a workaround.
Years ago before the official nVida driver supported optimums when you had to use bumblebee/primusrun it was true disaster. Games would not run, have gfx glitches or at best just perform badly.

Quoting: knotted10Quoting: michaIs Optimus really a problem if you use the proprietory nvidia drivers? Maybe I'm missing soemthing but I got two notebooks with the technology and Optimus stickers on it. With one I can select dedicated GPU in the bios and with other I simply selected performance mode in the nvidia-settings. Both run all games just fine..
Have you noticed the screentearing? Except if you have xorg server 1.19+ then you are having screentearing. That's the main reason why Nvidia optimus sucks, you stick to the proprietary drivers and burn your eyes with screentearing, or you stick with the mentioned problems with bumblebee (considering that you know how to use it, think about the newbie guys that arrive into linux without knowing anything about this)
It's literally pieces of s*** raining from the sky.

Yes, if someone carries his/her founders gear in the Outlands and gets killed someone else can loot it. In contrast, on the Royal Continent looting is limited. I'd expect most owners will keep their founders gear in a safe place. But you can always make a sell order at a market place and offer a lot of silver/gold for any specific item to tempt owners to sell it.

Quoting: wintermuteQuoteSo your last chance to get the special in-game items for supporting their development is coming up soon.
My understanding was that these items were lootable, so if you want them you can just gank someone who paid for them, is this changing?

I played it for 30min and quite liked it but stopped because I thought it would be way longer and therefore I wouldn't have the time (with so many others games I play concurrently atm like Hitman,.. ) but now I will probably pick it up soon again. Short but dense experiences are the best! :-)

You can zoom in/out a little (changes distance and camera angle to some degree) but that's it. You cannot move the camera freely.
Even if you could, you wouldn't see any other players / mobs since the client only gets updates in a close proximity for anti-cheat and performance reasons.

Quoting: BeamboomHow free is the camera in this game?
Can you zoom closer to the character or is the camera locked on one distance? It's a bit unclear to me cause some game videos show your character close up, but gameplay videos seem to all be stuck at one specific distance with an isometric perspective.
