Studio Wildcard have announced another DLC named "ARK: Aberration"

I was playing it last night (yeah evil Windows and all) and the damned thing crashed on me quite a few times. I had to remove all of the workshop mods just to get it to load. Definitely still very Early Access.
I still find it more enjoyable than I did ARK though...

Quoting: KeyrockQuoting: slaapliedjeWish we could get Conan Exiles ported. I'd rather play that myself. Plus boobs and physx for junk if you're into that sort of thing.Dong physics are the next evolution of video gaming. On a serious note, I would love Conan Exiles on Linux. It's one of the very few survival games that has me interested.

So for the complaints earlier about rumble/vibration not working under SteamOS for Saint's Row IV. I just tried it and I can't even get the Steam Controller to work at all with Saint's Row IV. I suppose if I changed it to work as a 'keyboard/mouse' configuration it would, but the recommended by Deep Silver configuration does not work.
I know the Steam Controller is working in other games (just played a bit of Sundered with it and died horribly of course).

I will be happy once we pass up MacOSX in market share. In server, embedded and phone markets, Linux usage is already trouncing everything else.

Haptic feedback (when you get a small vibration when you touch the pads) works perfectly fine on my Debian and Arch installs. Vibrations for when you are hit in a video game is an 'experimental' feature you have to turn on per game or in a global setting I found one day.

Ha, I guess I should edit that, it certainly has boob physics. There is even the server side option to allow full nude, topless or clothed. It's building up to be a pretty cool game, very much like Ark, but Conan!

Yeah, Linux has gone too mainstream, time to go back to my Atari Falcon!
So I wonder with the netmarketshare if we would do nice log into all of the servers we maintain and did a curl command to request whatever page they gather stats off of what it would look like...

The only game I've seen that 100% doesn't work with the Steam Controller and probably never will is Hero Siege. But I have seen quite a few other games that use some weird tweaked engine that only will only use an xbox360 controller. Hero Siege on Linux doesn't even work with that though, since it just doesn't have controller support there... now in theory you should still be able to create a config through big picture mode, but I haven't tried that yet.
But for those that claim they can't get the Steam Controller to work in ANYTHING, they're doing it wrong...

Quoting: RafiLinuxQuoting: Darkdisorder78Yea sorry that doesn't work. It doesn't work in Linux outside of left for dead 2.
Nah. My brother is on Linux and Linux only and he only has Steam Controllers. He plays all of his games from CS:GO to Ballistic Overkill to L4D 2 with that controller. The only issue he had was that he wanted more violent vibrations and he fixed that with SC add-on.

Do they figure since you guys stayed out of 'The Wars' that you don't like the FPS, so why allow you to buy a controller? :P

"coming soon", as for the last 2 years...
I honestly don't understand it. I live in Switzerland and it's not available, but it is in the uk, France, Germany and Italy.
Basically all of western Europe, except Switzerland.
And yes, I know that I can get it from import (with a 40% price increase), but I am a keyboard and mouse guy anyway, so...

I think the only game I've had any latency in was Sundered. Otherwise something even as picky as Super Meat Boy seems to work fine. A lot of that latency is in the game.
I love my Steam Controllers. Tempting to just replace my Roccat Tyon mice with them. Wish I could use the Steam Controller to replace the PS4 one as well.
