Looks like STAR WARS: Rebel Assault I + II will get their DOSBox versions for Linux on Steam

Quoting: Sir_DiealotWhether it's Dosbox on Linux or Dosbox in Windows, where's the difference? If the DOS-Version is available you can play it anywhere DOSbox is available. I wish GOG would just label DOS as platform and provide it at most with a sane config instead of installers and whatnot.

The only real difference I guess is that now you can just click 'Install' on Steam / Gog, instead of having to muck around with config files. I wish we'd get a proper port of the Windows versions of X-Wing, since they have slightly nicer graphics.

Nice, I have the first one (known as Evolution: Dino Dudes) on the Atari Jaguar. Apparently it is called that for the Falcon as well, and it's Dinolympics for the Atari Lynx. Wonder why the name change for all the Atari versions?

From looking at the screenshots on moby games, for once the Jaguar version looks the best out of all of them. There are a few that are that way. Sadly underrated system.

I was aware of the second Humans, but wasn't aware they made a third one.

Second Edit: apparently there is a 4th one as well, The Humans: Meet the Ancestors! for Nintendo DS and Windows.

The Witcher 3 didn't come to Linux likely as a result of the user-backlash from The Witcher 2

Quoting: slaapliedjewhen I was first trying it, worked perfect, second time around everyone was missing their lower portion of their bodies!

Quoting: slaapliedjeStill stuck on the first boss...

Do you mean the Beast? It can be somewhat annoying indeed. Make sure you use Specter Oil.

Ha, yeah the Beast. The problem is that my last save was at the beginning of the whole dungeon where you kill the guards then have to go through and kill more, then you run into the witch. So I have to re-do that so I can brew up some potions. Otherwise my current save was right before the boss due to the auto-save, so I have to skip through the cinematic every time.

Quoting: IvancilloDungeon crawlers are my favorite games so far.

This looks good.

Same! Loved Dungeon Master back in the day, and I REALLY wish someone would do a proper version in VR. There have been a few attempts (Crystal Rift is Okay, but you can't pick up rocks/knives and chuck them at walking Mushrooms like you can in DM.)

We need Dungeon Master VR... where are the FTL guys?

Quoting: MaCroX95How cool would it be if they brought native ports of Jedi Knight II and III to linux :D they're absolutely among my favourite games of all times, story was rich, mechanics simple but interesting and very fun to play, we need more games like that today.

I thought that was the case:

Now if only they could wrap up the source ports for the sequels, or for that matter any of the id engine games that are open sourced.

Gonna have to get this. Picking up Ruzar - The Life Stone as well, another dungeon crawler (love them)

That's quite possibly because everyone is buying the Vive or other headsets? Or (even more likely) a lot of people are waiting for 'gen 2'. Notice that HTC Vive has not done a price drop except for going on sale for holidays.

There is this too;

From what I recall/have read, MS was on the verge of being split up for being a monopoly, but then there was the 4 year shift in government and the anti-trust case went away. Pays to have the right people in your pocket before they get power, I uess.

Quoting: nitroflowTB just ripped this game to oblivion.
Havent watched it but im sure he brings up a few interesting points.

The more I played the less interesting it got in the end. Too little content for me to continue.

I pretty much never refund games, but I'm seriously considering doing that with this one. Without a local racing game, it just does not appeal to me. Not to mention the lack of being able to find a game.

It makes the game almost an 'online only' type of game, which always seem to suck to me because you never know if a community will keep it going or not.
