So all my work towards a better porn viewing experience has paid off by suggesting Linux for viewing it so that people don't get Malware!
The original 'POSTAL' is now open source under the GPL

RWS are stand up guys. I had purchased the Fudge Pack long before they had released it with a Steam key, and I had already gotten one of the Postal games in Steam, but was wanting all of it there. Not only did they give me the Steam keys, they had accidentally given me a different key first. But it was good by them. They also apologized to everyone who bought Postal 3. Ha!

Was he necessarily actually doing much coding? i kind of thought with the Unreal engine you could potentially make an entire game without much code at all and just needed to feed it textures and such.
Granted I could be completely wrong about this, I only played with the new editor for a short time (looked really powerful though).

You will need to update your udev rules for the Steam Controller

I was trying to figure out what drives CEC information. For example, the PS4 works fine with it, I don't think the Link actually does anything special with it, (though if I have the ps4 on, my receiver will switch to the link when it is powered on.) I should dig into this more, seems it should be a simple software thing.

Quoting: ArdjeHeads up for those of you with a steam machine
Before upgrading the steam beta, forcefully upgrade your system.
If you don't, you need a mouse to get out of the mess, and the intended use-case for a steam machine does not include a mouse. The steam controller is *dead*/useless until steamos is updated (with the new udev rules).
Fortunately all steam machines are lacking CEC support in hardware, so my steam machine only lasted 1 hour on my TV, before migrating it back to my room and replacing it with a steam link.
(Why... Why say it is a console if you don't support CEC :-( ).
It's now connected to my KVM switch like a bunch of other stuff ;-).

Why on earth was this a one man project? Granted back in the 8-bit days, most games were. But since the 16 bit days you at least would have a couple coders, the music and art guys.
The only one man projects I see being semi successful these days are retro or VR. And most of the VR ones use premade assets.

'gifine' is a pretty simple open source tool for making small gifs and videos

For those that use gnome-shell, I believe this functionality is built in.
Ironically one of the features of the Note 7 was to be able to make animated gifs by selecting a portion of your screen.
edit: Control+Alt+Shift+R is the keyboard shortcut for the gnome-shell screencast. Doesn't seem to be there currently for Debian Sid though, but then Gnome updated it's keyboard shortcuts dialog for 3.22.

Sure, how selfish of him!
Kidding of course, glad the devices I have purchased have the excellent support thanks to Stefan. Would be awesome if they did hire someone full time to continue the support for Linux. Guess time will tell if I purchase any newer roccat devices, but I've thought for a long time I should get another keyboard for work. I like the matthias quite pro I have, but it doesn't feel as nice as my roccat at home.

I actually think it is good they lost the license for D&D. For one, the newer D&D rules are crap, and this allows them all to be more creative and create their own worlds. I thought for some reason Tyranny was supposed to be in the same world, good to know it isn't and I could play one or the other. I wish they would go back and port NwN 2 to Linux like they did with KOTOR2.
Guess we have gone off topic, since this is about the 'inspired by Planescape' thread. Granted, I have followed Brian Fargo's games since Wasteland and Bard's Tale on the C64. It is awesome to see him in charge of things, and he is pretty much the only video game maker I will back on crowdfunding.
