So... Neverwinter Nights 3?
Will this come with tools similar to the them so modules can be created (sounds like it), though the tools were never ported to Linux sadly.
Can I just say IT IS ABOUT TIME!!

Gonna have to buy this. Granted I've bought all of their games at one point or another, from Penumbra 1 on, but I have yet to win any of them. Penumbra scares the living hell out of me and I start to have panic attacks... stinking dogs...
The thing that really makes their games ultimately true 'survival horror' games, is that you don't get any real weaponry at all. So you end up feeling completely helpless.
One thing I think that would potentially make people have heart attacks, but be very awesome, would be if this game had support for SteamVR (or other competing VR tech.) Imagine being able to reach out and interact with objects like that?

Just to throw in my two cents, it seems to still be working here. I have a 980GTX, and am running nvidia driver 343.36 (Debian Jessie with drivers packaged from experimental). I'm guessing it won't work in my Arch Linux install though, since it'll be updated to the latest drivers.

The game is fun as long as you have exactly 5 people to play. As far as what I was told (didn't really look at it myself) the DLC are just for 'unlocking things without having to actually play' style (so pay to win before your buds, which is freaking retarded. A lot of MMOs do this style because the logic is, some people don't have the time to play as much as others, but they have tons of money to spend apparently).
I'm pretty much with the rest of you though, it's mostly just good to see a 'AAA' game coming to Linux. The real exciting thing here is CryEngine for Linux, and Star Citizen being able to be ported because of it. (Still waiting for Elite: Dangerous to be announced for Linux...)

Awesome, I was hoping one day this would come to Linux, I've owned it since before it's general release, and haven't had time to play it since I rarely get time these days to boot into Windows for very long. Now I'm going to have to figure out a way to get my Logitech G27 (for ground vehicles), Saitek X52 Pro (for air vehicles) and keyboard/mouse (for on foot) all together so that I can easily switch.

Hmm, All Hands, I'm thinking spaceships, I'm thinking Elite: Dangerous. :D I would then actually have time to play it occasionally!
Contagion, Cooperative Survival Horror FPS Is Still Planned For Linux

I figure this is just like Black Mesa, which I'm pretty sure still has no Linux release due to the version of the Source SDK they used.

Quoting: MaelraneQuoting: GuestValve had their Dev days awhile back, where they practically gave everyone the knowledge and tools to publish a game on Linux. Not to mention that Contagion uses the Source engine, which should be one of the easiest to port with Valve holding their hand all the way. I agree with everyone else, platitudes and promises have zero substance in this industry without something we can sink our teeth into every so often to show actual progress.
While I agree with the rest it really depends on the version of Source they've used initially.
