AMD just recently had a 'Take A Way' security issue for their CPUs disclosed

Only problem with that is any Open Source CPU would have to be of an architecture other than x86 / X86_64 as these are locked by Intel & AMD respectively and Intel is fairly adamant on no-one else ever getting an X86 license (the only other would be VIA).
So any open source CPU would most likely be ARM based, that leaves you in the whole what will be compiled to run on it scenario. A powerful CPU that wont run applications that people use daily will never gain traction.

Quoting: PublicNuisanceCan't wait for open source CPUs to become more popular and powerful.

Quoting: TheRiddicklooks good to me, be nice if it had nvidia and amd gpu temp/data monitoring also. And for some reason it can't detect my memory modules.

DOOM Eternal coming to Stadia on March 20, plus other Stadia news - a round-up

We have the ability to hide articles with certain tags; which reminds me as I have zero interest in Stadia Im going to put it on ignore myself, but if Proton, Wine and Lutris news is acceptable then I dont see the problem with covering Stadia either, if it works on Linux then it should be covered in my opinion.
My internet connection simply isnt upto snuff, and because frankly Im not paying for any further 'streaming' services, and finally because I like owning my games, yes I realise Steam has problems here as well but at least I have possible remedies in cracks if required for games on steam if the worst occurs.

Quoting: HJalso why are you covering stadia all that much? or doom 5 specifically? trailer also didn't show steam icon, so we can assume bethesda launcher exclusivity already which means harder to use with proton.

The thing I truely miss in libreoffice is compatibility between macro enabled spreadsheets. It is honestly the only thing I now need MS Office for; otherwise I could ditch it and run libreoffice for all my needs.

Knockout sounds awesome and may tempt me back in; I enjoyed the game when it was released but found it lasted just too long for me to be able to play as a filler game; which is ideally what I want, something to play when I have 15-30mins spare.
