Im curious if this new Steam Runtime for Linux is something to do with Proton; given that last night when I was reinstalling everything for my new build, when I went to activate Proton for all games the top and default selection from the dropdown of what Proton version to use was "Steam Runtime for Linux"

QuoteAlso, something else seems to be coming involving the Steam Runtime for Linux, which now shows up in the Tools section of Steam. Developer Timothee Besset replied to me on Twitter with "soon (tm)", so when I have more info on what exactly it's for I will let you know.

I was late to the party with CK2 and the sheer amount of DLC is daunting, so a new fresh slate in CK3 might be a great place for me to start. And good to see that this supports Linux :)

It looks quite nice, though I have just started using Lutris as my all in one game launcher, just as I can access my Steam, GOG, WINE based launchers / games from one front-end along with configuration for them easily.

Im enjoying it, have to admit I play more on my phone than on the PC, but the shared account is appreciated.
My only gripe is that games take a fraction too long. If they were shorter I could easily use this as a filler game.

It going to be interesting seeing how the Ubuntu 32bit debacle is going to affect the next round of PC stats here on GOL (provided everyone updates their PC info), how big is the hit to ubuntu going to be and where have been the big winners from this migration.
