That reddit user here. Unfortunately I don't think that counting flaw affected the data that was used for the periods used, so no extra probable Linux users got missed.
The last survey results published with that flaw were for March 2018. The results for April were published in early May along with the explanation that cyber cafe customers were overcounted. Going from the March to April survey results saw Linux jumping from 0.33% to 0.55% and Simplified Chinese dropping from 52.24% to 30.35%.
So that corrected data should also have been available for the presentation.

Paradox are having a sale. Here are their Linux games. There is also list of games which are on sale but I couldn't find a way to filter on both at once.
This is the store belonging to the publisher of these games. My understanding is that purchasing there gives a Steam key.

QuoteThe last big patch to Stellaris seems to have caused quite a stirElsewhere the reaction has been mostly positive, with puzzlement about the Steam reviews. Today's threads on reddit about the Steam reviews:

Mutiny!! is on sale on Steam at the moment for much less than it has ever been before. Maybe they're cashing in on the publicity, maybe they're getting something for this while the still can.
HuniePop is on sale at Humble.

Looks like you can now run Linux on the Nintendo Switch

Steam Link uses Linux on ARM so it maybe that can be made to run. It falls well short of the full Steam client of course, and doesn't have any native games.

A few more sales ...
F1 2015 is free for a limited time.
This was free from Humble 5 weeks ago but some may have missed out. Codemasters have given away some of their games in the past, shortly before removing them from sale, which then stayed in the the Steam library of anyone who already had them.
I don't think porting this worked out too well for Feral. I hope F1 2017 is doing better for them.
85% off Guns of Icarus Alliance.
You can also email the receipt and get 3 extra copies in return.
Artifex Bundi bundle at indiegala.
Three hidden object games for $1 or 10 for $3.49

As a 44 year old I can tell you that VR in the 1990s showed some promise but was both too expensive and not good enough. It is now a small fraction of that price and dropping. It is finally just good enough with some the obvious improvements such as resolution on the way.
There have been VR-only games topping the Steam sales charts so that seems like the beginning of commercial success to me.
According to the Steam hardware survey the number of VR users is now equal to the number of Linux users despite the much higher financial barrier to entry. There does seem to be quite a bit of overlap between interest in VR and Linux-gaming, so hopefully VR on Linux will be ready soon and there'll be VR-users who'll come back to us.
