Liam, you should absolutely try DXVK with The Witcher 3: first time try it with vanilla Wine, then with DXVK. You'll be so impressed by how good is DXVK (and Vulkan, of course) that you'll really reconsider your position about gaming using Wine.

A fresh DXVK release is out with fixes for NVIDIA, RADV and multiple game improvements

Quoting: GuestDid somebody test the Witcher 3 on Plasma-Wayland? After the upgrade to dxvk 0.50 it doesn't work anymore, I can start the game but it crashes immediatly with a black screen and only the mouse is visible. On X11 it works though.

I've just checked and it works on my system. I run the game using PlayOnLinux and it shows a crash report window on start, but the game loads and runs flawlessy (the crash happens also under X11).

I'm on Manjaro with latest updates from stable repo, Mesa 18.0.3, dxvk-bin 0.50, kernel 4.16.7.

It's a pity that at GOG they haven't prepared a proper installer or just a patch file: prepare for a 9GB download!

But... THANKS A LOT, DEVS! :D

I really love when developers show dedication to their games enhancing them using suggestions from their user base or thinking about and addressing the mistakes they made on a first release.
Another game that comes to mind is Ash of Gods: they just released version 1.2 that really seems addressing all the flaws the game had on release (and makes me want to buy it).

The Linux version of RUINER is now on GOG, with 50% off

[Please excuse my poor english, I'm not a native speaker]

I liked the game, but I was disappointed by the sudden ending. It gave me the impression of an unfinished game.

What was best was the pace: the game is slow, battles can be tactical, but usually they are very fast. But the core of this game is the exploration. The game world want to tell a great story, but the developers failed to exploit all the potential they had in hands.

In the end this is the typical game that gets a 7/10. Don't buy it if you expect a pure FPS with frantic combat. Buy if you liked the first Far Cry.

Quoting: EhvisThe "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes" image has red exclamation marks over the Mac and Linux icons and it says "key not available". Anybody know what that means?

The game will not appear into your Humble library until you go to the Humble Order page following the link arrived via e-mail, then selecting that you want the "Steam key".
