Are there info about pricing for the Linux or the Enhanced version only for owners of the original game? We should buy it again buying the add-on?

Starbound to get vastly expanded space travel in a big update

I bought this game when it was in Early Access, played 20 hours straight, it was fantastic, then "it should mature, lets wait", and I never played it again, and I hardly find the will to play it again, despite all the faboulous updates :(

Some thoughts on Ziggurat

The only thing that keeps me away from Ziggurat is his roguelike nature: I really loved Doom for his level design. The levels are fantastic, and even after years I can still remember nearly all of them and enjoy the game.
With roguelikes with random levels all that magic is lost. It's not about replayability: I replayed all of the Doom (Heretic, Hexen, Quake, etc...) games over the years and not feel bored at all, because the frantic gameplay plus the level design made the magic.
Ziggurat (and nearly all of the roguelike-type games) slip usually into the forgettable gameplay and you'll never try the "now this will happen, let me be prepared" sensation that the classic FPS can give you.

Note: the original Planescape had an amateur italian translation done by the same people that some years after did the official translation for Baldur's Gate:EE and Icewind's games, so my hopes are high ;)

Not going to argue that you want a translation. However, you do seem to have a good amount of knowledge of English writing and the vocabulary, so I don't see why you need a translation.

The question is. With the price point, is it worth it?

Given that all the translations done for the Beamdog's Enhanced Editions of the other games where done for free by amateurs (with a lot of experience in translating games) and then included into the main game, the answer is: yes, it is worth it. Maybe not at release time, but later in the year. ;)

Interview with Feral Interactive about their ports and Mesa drivers, Steam keys offered for Mesa developers

Great article as usual!

I would have also asked:

- Who decides what to port? Is all in the hands of the Publisher or is a 50/50 decision? May the users ask for a port?
- How many of the games you already ported to Mac will come also to Linux in the next years?
- It is always worth doing a port to Linux?
- Is there a port you did only because you really loved the original game?
- Will you ever use WINE to port a game?
- Porting a game costs money, but with Steam if you already own the game, you can't buy it again. What's your position about this topic? Should the porters be rewarded in any way?
