It's me or the video it's like if the game is going at 10fps but the HUD says it's going at 70fps? This happens even with the Windows version of the video.

Quoting: baccilusHow does one find a patch by luck? (I am not a programmer)

You are testing mesa in real world using a game, see something that sounds "wrong", have an idea where the problem is, investigate, but found that the problem was elsewhere while looking at the code: this is the "by luck" of a programmer. Happens a lot when you do this job.

Someone tried the patch? Does it solves the poor performance problem in games like Saints Row III and IV on AMD cards? The games are actually unplayable on my Radeon 7850.

OpenGL 4.4/4.5 is finished!

I doubt that to be the case. I won't go to that other site, but if you've a direct link to any Mesa developments I can probably give more accurate information.

Here's the official set of patches, nearly all already reviewed: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/mesa-dev/2016-October/130984.html

Dead Island Definitive Edition & Riptide Definitive Edition both patched to fix major issues

Please Feral port some more games from that list (ie: Sleeping Dogs)!

I was ready to bet that it will be an Aspyr port, but Feral are really hard at work and I lost! :)

The 14th of october will be released the new Mesa with support for OpenGL 4.4/4.5 for AMD cards nearly complete, it is really not enough? This makes me sad.

EDIT:
Mesa will go in feature freeze on october 14th, then released the 28th.
