Sunless Sea updated with font and UI scaling options, fixing my main complaints
23 September 2016 at 1:40 pm UTC

I tried the game once, but the small text instantly stopped me to continue playing. Now that it is updated, I can't play because the game crashes. This part of the log messages:

[xcb] Unknown sequence number while processing queue
[xcb] Most likely this is a multi-threaded client and XInitThreads has not been called
[xcb] Aborting, sorry about that.
Sunless Sea.x86_64: xcb_io.c:274: poll_for_event: Assertion `!xcb_xlib_threads_sequence_lost' failed.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided looks like it may be getting a Linux & SteamOS release

I liked the previous Deus Ex: HR a lot, and decided not to buy this because it's a Windows only game (I planned to wait for a big sale), this announce changes everything. I'm really considering to buy it full price when released for Linux.

Quoting: CorbenAlso already picked it up. All tux, take my bucks!
I'm wondering about those games which are added later. Will they get their share from my payment, too? As I could already choose where my money went.

You can choose until the last day how to distribute the payment, you can also add more money to what already paid: so it's not done instantly and the percentages will vary.

Finally the Humble Indie Bundle goes back to the original spirit, I'll buy it!

Am I wrong, or "Super Time Force Ultra" does it's debut on Linux?

What have you been playing recently and how is it?

I'm playing "The Fall of the Dungeons Guardians" (the game on Steam a dungeon crawler that is sooo unbalanced that for the first time in my life I had to lower the difficulty level while playing. It has a fantastic developer that is responsive to comments and requests and updates the game very often.

Before that I played "Divinity: Original Sin" for 40 hours then got bored: really great combat system, not so great story. I played it under Windows because the Linux port doesn't work with Mesa + radeonsi.

Truth be told I sat on this for a few days, didn't even realize Phoronix had already covered it :(, genuinely thought he had missed it, doh! That'll teach me eh.

LOL I missed it too! :D
