He, these giveaway threads always attract a lot of activity in the comments :D

And no I am *not* in, still have many games to play in Steam library, I would probably not use much of Stadia in these 3 months! I hope the winner will give some summary feedback post (hint hint)

What have you been playing recently and what do you think about it?

Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator: driving pink trucks (and trailers) around to help with that community charity event - also to finally visit some of the DLC recently bought
Verdun: installed on my HDD for ages, but I finally started playing it. Different FPS style, go go go tirailleurs sénégalais!

Good timing, I just finished customizing my Renault range T truck (recently added to ETS2) :D
Time to take it on road for a few deliveries!

The action adventure game 'Evoland Legendary Edition' arrives with Linux support

Should have specified my "plain X11" is WindowMaker so no gnome3 (is it the one actually catching Alt-F11 and switching to fullscreen or the game?). Anyway Alt-F11 in my config is windows list popup (and using it in game does not apply fullscreen)

Quoting: axredneckAFAIK You can use Wayland under X
edit: GTK3, Mesa, MPV, Retroarch and many other things also require Wayland.
These can use Wayland, but certainly do not require it luckily :)

Installing wayland libraries allows Evoland to start on my plain X11 setup, but then I get the not-fullscreen issue. Pragmatic workaround here: kick wayland libs out and switch to proton for this game (fullscreen without issue)

We've teamed up with GOG for another fantastic giveaway: Surviving Mars & Iconoclasts

Adding myself to the Surviving Mars list :)

Humble Monthly adds Owlboy as an early unlock, Amnesia Collection free on Humble Store
28 January 2018 at 11:35 am UTC

Well, $12 + 10% coupon + nice €/$ rate these days… a friend is happy that he got a free Owlboy key, and Civ6 is downloading :)

Also, I think the cancel page is a tad too well hidden in the account settings page, here is the direct link for reference (better to cancel immediately than forget and pay for a bundle not that interesting)

GOG now have Epic Pinball and the platformer Jazz Jackrabbit with Linux support
30 November 2017 at 5:50 pm UTC

Epic Pinball is still my personal "best pinball game ever" (installed it from real cd in my dosbox setup), Jazz Jackrabbit is another fond memory (sonic rabbits with guns, nice soundtrack, ...)

So both oldies but goodies, nice to have them easily available in GOG

To the Moon sequel 'Finding Paradise' will launch in December with Linux support
23 November 2017 at 10:09 pm UTC

Directly addded at first place in my wishlist :) Though from the screenshots I am pretty sure my old Potato will be able to play the sequel smoothly (as it did for the first episode).

Bonus points for the trailer too
