Just bought. Mainly because I like the developers attitude (demonstrated by having the source on GitHub). All the better if the game is good, too.

Aaaand finished. Great fun. (Didn't get all achievments and missed the hidden level, though.)

Quoting: MohandevirUnless it changed, from the start they specified it will be a custom, amd based, PC games compatible device:

Ah, interesting. Couldn't find any usable information on the Ataribox website.

Quoting: mahagrI really hope it'll be Ryzen based, if it is, it'll be instant buy for me. If it's using older AMD, I see no point of getting the device...

What makes you think it's gonna be AMD64 architecture? More likely it will be ARM based.

Mantis Burn Racing needs more support if it is to come to Linux

Quoting: meggermanThere is a similar game from Milkstone Studios, it's 1/4 of the price and will probably give most of the satisfaction of Mantis burn.

Unfortunately it seems to be having an issue with the latest Nvidia drivers :|

Yes. Apart from the fact that it doesn't work and never has on my machine.

Quoting: marcin1509I don't know why it is so expensive. 16 euro for stupid 2D racing game ? Maybe I'm blind but I can't see anything nice in it.
Why devs can't make any better game? There are not much good racing games for Linux, unfortunately.
If I knew how to make games, I would make the racing game of my own.

I still count 3 dimensions. And I don't know whether it is "stupid". And it sounds a bit... shall I say "odd"? when someone asks the devs for a "better game" and stats that he or she has no clue "how to make games".

F1 2017 is officially coming to Linux, releasing November 2nd from Feral Interactive

Quoting: Krogash86Why so much racing and rts on Linux and no good fps or mmorpg games :(

So many racing games? I currently count 3 (in the vein of "serious racing" ): Grid Autosport, Dirt Rally and F1 2015. Now comes a fourth which will replace the 2015 version. One for Rally fans, one for Street Racing, one for F1. We got everything barely covered.

What have you been playing and what do you think?

Quoting: pedrojmartmI have been playing War THunder. 3 hours every day, sadly it is on opengl and it runs about 30-40 fps minus than on Windows but even like that, i enjoy it. I hope Vulkan get to it really soon.

I'm also a rather frequent WT player (same nick as here), but I can't really complain. It runs flawlessly with all details maxed around 60+fps on 2560x1440 on a GTX1060.

The latest Steam Hardware Survey shows Linux market-share has declined again

Quoting: Leopard
QuoteEven our own limited survey shows about 31.78% of people also use Windows.

Including you :P

Anyway , main thing is we are so much dependent on Steam. We need at least one out of Steam but yet popular title.

Does "War Thunder" suffice?

According to netmarketshare Linux hit 6.91% market share last month, higher than Mac

Quoting: KohriasAccording to StatCounter GNU/Linux is at 4% in Germany with ChromeOS being non-existant. One of the rare occassions where it feels like something is going in the right direction where I live ;)

Additionally it lists 1.6 percent "unknown". If these are OSes belonging to the Linux pool we are actually lurching towards six percent.
