I can't agree with this. I am a fan of having a variety of etailers, but I would simply not use Linux as my daily driver if it wasn't for Valve.

Watching the trailer, I could already tell that it is a game you'd only play once or twice.

What I was really hoping to see coming into this article was a new game like Smuggler's Run!

That was one high quality trailer. I haven't been buying party games because I don't have good reason yet, but my kids will someday be old enough. Added to wish list.

Quoting: KimyrielleWould be awesome to see AMD becoming a real alternative to NVidia again. I certainly like their way to handle the community better than NVidia's...

Drivers wise it's already a great alternative. Now they need to catch up on hardware. Vega is not very competitive on power consumption.
I'm very interested in going AMD for either/both CPU and/or GPU on my next overhaul.

I have too many games. :( It would be silly for me to get more this time around. *thinks about Overwatch that's currently installing on the PS4*

It looks very cool to me. Though I love TBS on handheld devices, they don't interest me as much on my desktop. I am not sure why. I might get this one though.

Full disclosure: I did enjoy XCOM for the most part.

That's a really great price. I would like to try it out. Hmm....

Speculation: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive might be getting a PUBG-like mode

I think I'd rather see an Unreal Engine battle royale game on Linux than on Source 2. Unity would be more appealing, too. Battle Royale mod for Rust, anyone? Source games are nice and fast for shooters, but man, they feel thin and stiff these days. I can just imagine walking around a corner with great loot only to be headshot as soon as my nose is visible. When's the last time you hid in a bush in a Source game?
