Quoting: hjahreOh, not consistently. There are times I don't like the EA brands and then there are games I like a lot. I'm not a total EA hater.Quoting: 14... I really hate buying EA games. ...I guess this is true for each meaning of EA games? :P

Early Access is a big reason I haven't bought this game yet. Even though I break my rule at times, I really hate buying EA games. A friend of mine has been wanting me to buy this game since before it was on Steam, and I keep saying I will buy it when it's complete.

I'm most tempted by Icewind Dale, which has nothing to do with the fact that I'm reading the fourth Legend of Drizzt book right now. ;)

I don't think I've ever had a problem running the games Liam mentions with dual monitors. Do you have a default selected? Also, I know Liam uses Ubuntu, but KDE has an option to open windows on the monitor where your cursor is. I have that turned on.

Is it really $300? I haven't seen the price posted. If that's true, that's too much based off the spit of info we have. To me, it sounds like it's only powerful enough to play old pixel games. If that's the case, it should be more like $100 for the convenience package and good looks. Otherwise, I'll just hook up a $100 computer from Craigslist to my TV.

I was subbed to the monthly one for a few months this Summer, but I paused and eventually completely canceled after a few months of poor Linux games. I'm doing what stretch does and only buying one month at a time depending on the headliner(s).
Even though the value of this month's bundle is very, very good, I'm simply not interested in those single player games. If DoW III had a co-op campaign like the DoW II games did, then I'd buy it no question. But if it's a single player campaign... well, I'm pretty much only interested in RPG's these days.

After decidedly not installing Wine on my system for the past four years or so, I finally did it a few day ago for WoW. I have WoW installed on my Windows 7 drive but I got too tired of rebooting into Windows. I was only booting to Windows about every 20 days or so, but I've been doing it more frequently due to ESO, PUBG, and now WoW. After setting up WoW in Wine on the family computer that doesn't have Windows, I convinced myself to do the same on my tower. Sure, it's not a win for Linux gamers to play in Wine, but it's a win for me to boot into Windows less. Besides, booting into Windows isn't a win for Linux gamers either.
Anyway, now that I'm a consumer of Wine (at least until I let my WoW sub run out), update news is nice to see. :)

Quoting: TcheyI don't believe a Linux console is a solution for Linux gamers. I don't know about you, but around me, me included, all Linux users are doing much more than playing, on their PC.I still think a Linux console would be a very big win for Linux gamers. Lots of computing software these days are browser based. People use Google documents and email and music, etc. You can use the good browsers on Linux no problem. So, if the majority of highly advertised games ran on Linux, then I do think PC gamers would be more apt to running Linux on their PC's instead of Windows. The rest of the stuff they do on their computers wouldn't even be a shift.
It's a workstation for video, music, 3D, development, internet, social media door, games, all together, and if there was a Linux console, they would NOT buy it or use it even for free. It would require a split between the PC and the console, while with the PC they have all in one machine.

If you look at the thumbnail to this article with your peripheral vision, it looks like a hand going down the back of someone's pants.
The light flare in the first picture does look sort of harsh but also pretty realistic.
