Tyranny gets a massive patch, an event pack and has an expansion teased

You know, I'm glad to hear people still finish games! I won't let myself buy another RPG until I finish the one I'm very slowly playing through right now.

ARK: Survival Evolved release date revealed, plus new free map
14 June 2017 at 3:41 am UTC

Unfinished games are the only ones that make me feel like I need 16 GB of RAM, so I stick with my 8 GB.

Once ARK is released, I'll install it again and give it a try. I had a little fun in it before. If it performs terribly and upgrading stuff is a major grind, I won't waste my time.

Same here. I have tried it a couple times, weeks apart, and it crashes during startup. Shame.

Waaagh! Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III released for Linux with OpenGL & Vulkan, review & port report

Is there no co-op campaign in this one? :'( I played through Dawn of War II four times with different friends! We also spent many hours in the wave mode against AI. Dawn of War III looks way cool and fun enough to play the campaign on my own, but probably not for $60. The only single-player games I tend to like these days are story-heavy, otherwise I gravitate toward the co-op type. If I can only play this game by myself, I'll unfortunately probably wait until it's $30 or less.

That said, I think I'd buy this at $30 before the latest SC2 expansion partly because it runs on Linux and partly because it feels more fresh right now.

Quoting: scaineThe full loot on PvP is devastating...
It wouldn't be a problem if you had some routes that simply kept you out of red/black zones, but the way they've mapped the world out, some zones are simply inaccessible unless you risk the sprint across a hostile zone.
EVE online is similar in the loot drop aspect but different in the zones. There are outer zones that are more deadly yet more lucrative, while the safer zones can still be fun enough... until you feel ready for the wild. :)

I wasn't that interested in it before, but now that it's unredeemed in my Humble Bundle account, I'd like Linux support. :)

This is what I'm looking for!

Let me guess... DayZ? Yeah that would make my passthrough-setup useless... Well that and fallout4 :)
I was more interested in the Battlegrounds mod for Arma 3, but now that PUBG is the new thing and also uses BattleEye, I'd like that to work even more.

This idea is extremely interesting. The dilemma for me is I have a Windows 7 license, not a Windows 10 license (by choice), so I only have a couple more years of supported use. Is it worth dismantling my dual boot setup? Should I install a Windows VM on one of the desktops or a server in the house? That's not really an advantage. I still have to manage the OS if it's in my home no matter whether it's on my own tower or in a VM. Keeping the Windows VM on a rented server is ideal so I don't have to deal with Windows maintenance and security anymore. But now I can't avoid the monthly cost. I have friends that would possibly let me run a VM on their hardware, but with a gaming GPU? Probably not. And I'd still have to maintain the Windows VM myself.

So yeah, it's pretty neat, but I guess I'd rather have a PS4 to play the titles that don't make it to Linux. If you divide $300 / 12, that's about $25/mo for one year and you don't have to worry about play time racking up.
