Please, take not of the wording JudasIscariot used. I highlighted it for clarity. ;) Other than that, it was sarcasm on my side.

In short if you want to use the Windows version of Galaxy under Wine use the most recent version of Wine Staging since Galaxy makes use of quite a few features not yet implemented in vanilla Wine.

It sounds like there is a Linux version of Galaxy somewhere nearby... ;) Of course I want to use the Linux version and not the Windows one, but as of now I simply have no choice. Just want to have a glimpse at that client which revently was updated to 1.2 with big news on the site yet, no Linux version mentioned.

A couple of months ago saw this article on the Steam forums addressing the same issue, with another tweaks too, and it's what I use. I believe it's basically cpufrequtils with a script to switch performance mode on and off.

A bit more compromising question at the end of the interview for some exclusive information -confirmation of Half Life 3 :P ... Shogun 2, etc- would have been the icing on the cake!
Also, as personal curiosity, why is Feral not interested in releasing their own IPs? They have experience in the platform and surely can make some nice gameplay too :)
Nice interview overall though!

Played this game many, many years ago and loved it. It's flawed, and difficult, but the atmosphere, plot and original soundtrack are top!
I wish this wine port it's on GOG at some point too...
