Violent twin-stick shooter 'Hatred' is now officially out for Linux

I haven't played it for a while, but I found no major problem with the game on my system. Some of the workshop mods didn't work at the time but that may be fixed now.
Quite a good shooter and nowhere near as controversial as its infamy might suggest :-)

Quoting: g000hCurrently, 76% off on GreenManGaming. Hmmm, maybe worth a punt.
Anyone finding it broken or problematic on Linux?

I owned the first game on Steam, and was pleased to be offered a discount of 25% when purchasing Turok 2. Much to my wife's dismay I have been playing this solid for hours this evening :-)
With regards to the comments about GOG, I personally feel we shouldn't look a gift-penguin in the mouth and appreciate that these games are available via any distribution service. We are already buying copies of commercial games without the source code, so using Steam's DRM doesn't seem that much of an issue!

I'd be happy to join in the beta testing. I've tested several games before including Sunless Skies, Nowhere Prophet and Bulb Boy (which strangely never actually got released for Linux).

The devs announced today that a new beta is available... hooray!
However, after having restarted Steam just to be sure, the beta still does not download and gives the "Invalid platform" error. Oh dear :-(
