I hope the global enable for Steam library gets figured out and added.
Also one thing that bugs me that I never worked out how to work around are game launchers. I would prefer for game launchers such as Battle.net that gamemode isn't turned on, because I might want to leave it running in the background... And then when I go to launch a game it should activate. I've tried blacklisting Battle.net but that did nothing, of course I might be doing something wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I will be interested to see how the iGPU performs, if they can push AMD to go harder in this area it benefits us all. It would be nice to see an APU that is able to comfortably game at 60fps on medium settings.

The pricing is disgusting and it's sad that this has become "normal". Wake me when AMD finally brings competition and prices drop.

I was seriously looking at a Lenovo laptop earlier this year. It's nice to see a big brand supporting Linux so much. I would still likely erase the installed OS and put my own distro on.

Brilliant project. Started using it along with GOverlay since the last article. Haven't tried any of the logging features but if I ever get into benchmarking, I could see this being an excellent feature.

Speaking of the Xe GPU's. I expect them to be a big jump from Intel's previous attempts .. But I would be surprised if they were able to compete with AMD or Nvidia even if they made a high end GPU. Doubtful for a first gen product.
I believe I was watching an AdoredTV video a few months back and it was commented that Raja hadn't started fresh with Xe, but it was something that Intel was already working on that he took a modified the design. It might not be until a few more years when he's had chance to fully develop his own GPU architecture that we see something truly competitive... But I'm open and hopeful to being wrong. It would be nice to see prices drop to where they used to be for GPU's ~12 years ago. Paying $800+ for a high end GPU is pretty obscene as far as I'm concerned.

As long as x86 is the dominant architecture there won't be a third player. Intel and AMD are far too ahead and own too many patents. Could you imagine if AMD had completely collapsed a few years back?
Some analysts believe the future of the desktop is in ARM. I'm not so convinced. AMD have proved you can produce a powerful high core cpu with a low power budget, if Intel can get things back on track we will see many more years of x86.

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoFinally!
A third player in the GPU market is something the gamers need.
Now We need a third player in the CPU market for gaming computers.

I meant to test OpenRGB after your last article, I wonder if that offers any support for the Wraith cooler. I keep mine in it's box since I opted for watercooling.

I have been customizing mangohud manually although I should really give this a try. I love ability to have the hud hidden by default and I just use the R_Shift+F12 to toggle it on/off.
