Why again should anybody use this if there is no exclusive stuff in there? And if there was exclusive staff in there to lure me into installing it why again should I change my routine of blacklisting companies that try to do that?
Sincerely hope they keep it completely optional since I like some of their games quite a lot.

Hmm... first Feral game where my old toaster is over the hardware requirements - this lacks the usual excitement somehow ;-)

Feral Interactive are teasing yet another Linux game

Quoting: EhvisI'm just waiting for someone to provide an interesting take on Spice Clove. No idea how to match that to Shogun 2.
The CLOVE was the first English trading ship to arrive in Japan in 1613. It's main goal was establishing trade relationships (especially spices) in the far east.
Other countries like the Portuguese and the Dutch had landed a few years earlier but since Creative Assembly is a British developer, choosing the English landing slightly after the end of the timeline of Shogun 2 (1545-1600 if I remember correctly), could be another hint.

Dawn of War III looks like it might come to Linux

Hmmm...
If you want to get me with the MP part it has to be good, diverse and work cross OS.
If you can not deliver on that:
Your SP content should be damned good and decently sized.
If you want to sell it to me for 60€ ...well... it should better be both, to be honest(or deliver truly exceptional in one category).
Unfortunately I can not see any of that concerning DoW3. This does not even make it on the whishlist for now.

(SEGA games that would make it to the very top of the whishlist would be NieR:Automata and Bayonetta, btw - just saying :D)

Everything, a game about experiencing, well, everything and it's now on Linux

Feral Interactive have released a new teaser for a Linux & Mac port to come

First thought was Shadow Warrior 2 - which would certainly be welcome.
Shogun 2 would be somewhat less exciting but still nice to have.
NieR: Automata on the other hand would be a complete gamechanger from what I have seen so far. We need these one of a kind gems for the Linux gaming portfolio - much more so then generic new shiny AAA IV.

Since I have never been good at this deciphering Feral game, I actually have some hope it`s NieR: Automata. If it's not...well...hopefully they will have it on their radar after reading this thread ;-)

F1 2016 won't be coming to Linux, as sales of F1 2015 weren't strong enough

OK guys, time to stop theorizing. Everyone get up and switch one other person to Linux this week. We obviously need a audience for games.

Editorial: On paying for Linux games when you already have a Windows version

While it is good that developers/publishers try to find new ways to make a port profitable for them (which could lead to more ports in the future), I simply do not think that this is the way to go.
While I will probably at least download and look at an old game I already own from my windows days I will be massively less tempted to do so if there is a paywall.
I would really have to want to play that game again to even consider buying it again. This might even result in lower Linux sales and therefore also less future ports because I am not very likely to recommend that game to a friend, who has not bought it yet, plus: the positive credit for doing a Linux port in the first place is negated by the per OS paymodel( even if I did not own the game before I am less tempted to buy it now unless my desire to play it was very - and I mean very - high).
Cross OS playability once purchased has become a standard in the last couple of years and I think we should try to defend it.
That does not mean that porters should not be compensated adequately, but there are other ways to do so.
Why not a virtual "Thanks for the Linux/Mac version!" poster DLC that supporters can buy to support the port if they so desire. They might even make additional money of people that really enjoy the game and feel ashamed that they got this gem in a cheap bundle by doing that.

What have you been playing recently and what do you think about it?

Last month Dirt Rally(not much of a petrol-head but the Dirt series always provided a good mix of challenge and fun for some reason and this one is definitely worth playing) and many a night duelling a friend in Chaos Reborn(online play is basically dead, but if you convince one or two friends to play it's an awesome game) took the lead.
