Yeah, got similar feelings towards Cinnamon, though Mate and Xfce are also quite nice. Anyway, if that was your hurdle feel free to have a look again - you will not be disappointed. ;-)

Unfortunately this is not something that can be dealt with by donating a little money while sitting at your computer. This is something where people have to go outside an make their voices heard and their numbers seen. From the outside It is sad to see the US so dug in on it's internal frontlines in recent years that few seem to be able to see what is fair or just anymore, let alone act upon it. I hope one day you will be able to break out of this two sided power struggle and find your heart again to work towards a better future for everyone.

So more possible annoyance and problems for players that are currently willing to spend money on dlc content....as oppossed to no difference for people who do not...yeah, that does sound smart.

First impression of the graphics was a bit sour (I wonder how much that is owed to the fast paced cutting of the trailer), but they have definitely grown on me with every re-watch. There is actually quite a bit of details in the scenes and variation in the character expressions. Since pixel art does not lend itself that well(with exception like Thimbleweed Park of course) to the stupid letterbox format we call screens these days, this might actually be the better choice.
