Seems there is a lot of movement on the Linux gaming front...

Yes indeed, and the timing seems pretty suspicious to me, considering Valve went totally Amd and x86.
Let's see what (if anything) will happen!
After all nvidia provided several Proton/dxvk fixes in the past, and since it shares large codebase with Windows gpu drivers and I assume they are not that interested in dxvk under Windows,I wonder why...

Are you speaking about firmwares, i guess?

I'm not that in windows world, but i would not install windows on an handheld gaming 'toy'.
Really, what if i want to play a game and it want to install updates instead, or i want to power it off and it won't for the very same reason?
Maybe this is avoidable and i just don't know?

Quoting: CatKillerThis came up with another recent article. A lot of game devs believe that if a potential customer is able to satisfy their curiosity with a demo, the dev won't be able to pick their pocket for the full game price.

(!) Source?

QuoteI think that's an abhorrent attitude.
Indeed. Hype, or worst.
Am i paying for (or are they really trying to sell me) games just to satisfy my curiosity?

Doesn't make sense, do they know steam allows refunds if you don't like the game?

I think that as soon as nvidia folks start to loose some linux gaming market versus amd, then they give us something.
If i'm right, then staying away from them is good :)
...but i've been with them for too long to even think to buy nvidia again in the future anyway, though
i'm happy for their progresses, as it is a benefit for the whole linux gaming ecosystem.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyThe visuals are definitely freaky and really give it the kind of atmosphere they seem to be going for. Unfortunately, they also kind of hurt my eyes. I'm not sure if I can work with the tradeoff.
Great visuals.
In that regard, I was just thinking if by playing it enough, the mind would get used to it...
