Hey, Liam... Sorry if you already saw my post in Mastodon and just didn't find it interesting enough... I don't know if you just don't check that one frequently (I don't use Twitter or other "mainstream" social networks anymore)... Anyway, I posted about the developer of the cool looking game "Ellen Teaser The Fall" sort of confirming the game on Linux and even looking for beta testers in what seems to be a near-ish future.

Here's the discussion in Steam (for you or anyone interested): https://steamcommunity.com/app/822920/discussions/0/1694917906657130974/

Great Linux games on Steam currently under a fiver

Quoting: PatolaSOMA is great! And what happened to Frictional Games? Long time we don't see new games from them.

I think they are working in 2 games at the same time. They have actually increased their team/resources with the successes they've had with previous games... I follow them in Twitter and they post from time to time updates about their current projects.

They are my second favorite game company after Valve... (the third would be Croteam, probably).

I think you should add SOMA ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/282140/SOMA/ ) to the list!... I bought that a couple of days ago. Haven't played it, but being Frictional Games (Penumbra and Amnesia series), it should be pretty awesome and one of the few AA & 1/2 game developers out there that support Linux.

Crap! That trailer is amazing!... I was sad (angry, outraged) that Subnautica and ABZÜ weren't scheduled for Linux, more than that, the rather dismissive and "I don't care a rat's furry ass" attitude about Linux of those two games' developers...

Now that I see this one apparently coming to Linux, I am the one that doesn't care a rat's furry ass about Subnautica or ABZÜ!

To be clear, I don't rant or offend ANY developer for not porting or caring about Linux (not even Bethesda or Ubisoft)... But I certainly appreciate very much the effort other developers do put to our platform. If Subnautica or ABZÜ ever come to Linux, I'll applaud the effort and maybe even buy a copy of those... but they will certainly be after a long list of games/developers that have earned my appreciation (e.g. Acid Wizard Studio, Frictional Games, Techland...)

Iconoclasts, please, :)

- MacOS, assumes you're stupid.
- Linux, demonstrates you're stupid!

Is "Warhammer end times: Vermintide" a good candicate?... https://store.steampowered.com/app/235540/Warhammer_End_Times__Vermintide/ ... I haven't played any of the Warhammer games, so I know NOTHING about it's universe whatsoever, but somehow this game came to mind when I read the "hellish" theme.

Humble Indie Bundle 19 is now live!

Am I the only one that wants Humble Store/Bundle to support cryptocurrencies?... I know most people have access to USD, PayPal and credit cards... But there's a few of us, who live in crappy, authoritarian, Banana Republic crountries that restrict access to those assets. Only cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Litecoin...) are really usable for us to purchase things outside. Videogames might be a "shallow" thing to desire, but that's why sales like these are even more attractive to us, these are the few occations we, nerds/geeks can afford to buy some games to distract us from those crappy moments in life for a few hours.

It would be really great for Steam to re-add BTC funding, btw. Hopefully they'll do it soon, since BTC fees are lower than ever. (and high fees was the reason they remove it a couple months ago).

(something tells me this might be a "controversial" comment, hopefully people will understand that developing countries are in very different situations and people really struggle to be able to buy stuff that in other countries are a few clicks away).

The Linux-powered games console the Ataribox has become the Atari VCS

Atari stated something about it missing a "key element on our checklist"

My guess is that they'll use AMDs new Ryzen V embedded processor (like the Smach Z portable game console) and they were waiting to finalize the related paperwork to announce it properly... But again, that's just my guess.
