As far as I know, Flatpak is more distribution agnostic than Snappy, Snappy has some Ubuntu-ish stuff that some people (developers) are not very comfortable with when packaging for other distros... At least that's what I've read.
A look at some neat Linux games you can find on the awesome itch store

It might be a "gaming" unrelated question, but... Does anyone of you know how to activate OpenCL under Linux for an AMD Radeon R9 390?... I tried a couple months ago without luck (Although I don't consider myself an expert), I'm waiting for better features support in their drivers, but it seems that it's still not possible, please, someone correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.
Recursed, a mind bending puzzle platformer that's actually rather good is now out for Linux

When I saw this one a couple months ago, it got my attention. Great to see it on Linux, added to my wishlist!

I think I'm the only one who thinks this game sucks... because it got ruined by the recurrent decision of studios to assume gamers are stupid... Every 10 steps there's an on-screen explanation of how to jump, climb, and pretty much solve every freaking minor "puzzle" you face in the game.
At least that's what I've seen in ALL the playthroughs I've watched in Youtube. I still don't know if you can turn ALL of the on-screen tips off in the settings. If that's the case, I'm very much willing to purchase it and have an enjoyable experience, otherwise, I'm not very interested in this guided-tutorial-of-a-game.

Linux usage on Steam is better than people think

I switched to Linux a year and a half ago, I use Steam almost everyday and not even once I've received a Steam Survey... Every month I check the "netmarkedshare" webpage to see more or less the Linux usage. I find it more realistic and "close to real world" usage: http://www.netmarketshare.com/operating-system-market-share.aspx?qprid=9&qpcustomb=0
For February, it showed a 1.78% Linux usage... an increase over January (1.71%).
Is not Steam usage, I know, but I think it reflects better the Linux usage ratio in Steam that the actual Steam Survey crap.

Some thoughts on Factorio after a few hours with it, blown away by it
