The latest from Prime Gaming - November 7 edition - still great for Steam Deck / Linux

QuoteDo you like seeing me keep this list up to date and want me to keep doing it?

I can understand the “freebies” since this is a pretty big list. However, they require an Amazon Prime subscription, which I have no intention of getting.
So if this does continue weekly, could you please add a dedicated tag like “Prime Gaming” so I can filter them out? For now, I’ve added “Amazon” to my filter list, but that seems to catch other articles as well.

Thanks for your work

Croteam say all Serious Sam games are on their way to Linux with Vulkan, also VR on Linux teaser from Valve

The first five things on the list are really incredible. Lighter save games stored in Steam Cloud sounds nice too. I can't wait to see the benchmarks for these games. I may have to pick them up for split-screen.
QuoteWe now have two games in Early Access [...] we’ll just add two or three more games into the VR mix!
We better hope Valve gets VR on Linux, or these revamped Serious Sam games may be the last we ever see of Croteam. :S:

Jonathan Blow states he is open to a Linux port of The Witness with Vulkan, but never with OpenGL

QuoteMyself and Jon had a bit of a falling out a while back over something trivial, so he still has our @gamingonlinux account blocked on Twitter.

That's completely reasonable. Jonathan Blow is up there with Gary Newman in terms of being a total ass, especially in regards to Linux.

Technical issues with the new Cossacks 3 DLC seems to have delayed the Linux version

These guys strike me as a company who either isn't on top of their shit in general, or just can't stick to release dates. The game launched very buggy, they've delayed patches and features (for Windows), and now they've delayed the DLC as well. That part gives me some hope for an eventual Linux release, as it shows they're slow at pushing all updates out, but the fact DLC > Linux release two months after launch is worrying.

Why not just auto-generate new graphs monthly? That removes the spontaneity of "I guess I feel like generating some graphs today" every couple of months. This would greatly improve the usefulness, reliability, and accurate record keeping of the graphs,

Why is this tagged as Early Access? The game is released, right? Looks interesting. I wonder what co-op is like.

Quoteit's another chance to plug our own User Statistics Page. Be sure your profiles are up to date.

You sure love to plug that often, but it's still missing from the sidebar and navbar ;). Hell, you could even put it under Misc.

Edit: I'm a dumbass. Wasn't expecting it to have its own nav section; thought it'd be in a dropdown.

Also, you can't delete comments? Laaame!

Very nice work on the graphs. Shouldn't all *ubuntu and Ubuntu-* just be merged into "Ubuntu"? After all, that's what the DE section is for, right? It makes the graph look like Ubuntu has 200+ fewer people using it than it actually does, which is a large portion of the sample size.
