Rocket League to get a tournament mode with a beta next month and more
2 February 2018 at 12:21 am UTC
I have been wanting to find more Rocket League players who are interested in just fun private games (low gravity, rumble, dropshot, etc).
I don't know which warpig you are when I search on steam, but I am currently the lone TapocoL on steam for you or anyone else wanting to group up for Rocket League.

Quoting: WarpigHello! I'm new here and I'm a rocket league-aholic....
I've put in well over a thousand hours on rocket league. I would love to add some fellow linux gamers for a possible tourney or just for fun! Non-salty here!
warpig (on steam)
Thanks!

It's time to bug Feral Interactive about future port requests once again

PUBG or Fortnite
I believe there is much to gain for Feral in that genre on Linux. More importantly for me, I believe games with those player concurrent player count leads to more people giving Linux a try. With more people using Linux means more games ported to Linux. Which means I have more games to choose between on my platform. And really, we just want me to play more games, right?
Oh, and I will buy and play PUBG or Fortnite if they were on Linux.

Sky Force Reloaded has a bit of a grind to it, but it's a very good shoot 'em up

The reason I haven't bought this is I already grinded pretty far on android, but the devs said that this wouldn't sync my profile to steam. So, I don't really want to grind again on the computer. Really good game though.

Golf for Workgroups is a very weird golf game that's now on Linux

Golf with your Friends is pretty fun with others and to me a worthwhile buy for a gaming group. However, every update seems to fix some problems and introduce more problems. My last couple plays (a few weeks ago), I had to start the game in windowed mode and then change to fullscreen in game to get it to work. Might want to wait until it is out of early access.

I have played this more now. I am on a Steam Controller.
I do have that "start" key problem, it seems associated to gliding, flying and going to the left.
Also, twice now the right haptic control seems to shake back and forth. Fun game, but those two bugs have become annoying. The worst part is when the start key problem happens and I am pressing left and flying, which causes me to exit the current map (start all over on that map).

I've put in an hour or so into the game and am really liking the calm yet challenging nature of this game. The three-year-old also enjoys this game as well.
Do you play it only with keyboard?
I can't play it with my xbox controller on Debian. The character is constantly moving to the right of the screen and the menu "Go to map" pops up randomly during the game, as if the "start" key was assigned to another button.
