Quoting: michaChildren of Morta is not out yet. Will be in 2018. Their Kickstarter and orignal presskit both mention Linux as one of supported platforms. Feel free to reach out as a Linux fan, there's never enough affirmation for devs, especially when there is a lot of time left before release.Quoting: hardpenguinAlso: the developers of Tale of Ronin are the ones behind Shadow Blade: Reload and Children of Morta!
Oh, isn't that a bad sign? I mean there's still no Linux version of 'Children of Morta', right?

Quoting: KelsI heard about this before, due to people raving about the art style which from the trailer is stunning. It'll be interesting to see how the life choices mechanic plays out.I am amazed by the skill of Kamyar Nasirifar of Dead Mage studio, who is responsible for the art here.

Vendetta - Curse of Raven's Cry is to get a new patch, but not for Linux

Games published by TopWare were iconic and crucial in my childhood, but I hear only bad things about them lately :(
On the other hand, they are the only company that decided to bring their entire back catalogue to Mac and Linux using Wine! That's definitely something.

Quoting: DamonLinuxPLFrom what I remember Vendetta is not that bad game like many people think. First one Raven's Cry - have many bugs and perform on Linux very very bad and even not work on AMD GPU (NVIDA only), now with Vendetta Curse of Raven's Cry is much better and work on both hardware. Performance is still bad but similar to latest Feral ports, on Linux 40% worse than on Windows - so acceptable for most Linux users.Yeah, pretty much TopWare fucked up this game :( I respect Reality Pump for their work!
What I want say, many people blame developers team Reality Pump for make bad game and this is not true in my opinion. I agree fist version is poor but second is much better. Also we should remember that publisher TopWare ordered development Raven's Cry to Octane Games and after some while they fail and publisher TopWare forced to end this bad game Reality Pump - they need abandon all own games like Sacrilegium. They have a very little time to fix not own game and TopWare forced it to quick release. After it they just almost bankrupt. That why I hate TopWare. They just lying about porters, publisher (they are publisher noting else), bad developers... etc... but I think this all it is TopWare fault.
Even ex employers claim that all guilty if in a German publisher. Quick info about this in original Polish source (needed google translate) http://gry.onet.pl/krakowskie-studio-reality-pump-zbankrutowalo/epd3p4

I doubt this.

If users using Steam in Simplified Chinese are 56% of overall userbase (according to the survey), then 44% are non-Chinese users (I skipped users using Traditional Chinese, since they represent a tiny fraction).
Using proportions:
0.35 - 44
x - 100
Then x is 0.79 percent. That would be Linux share on non-Chinese markets.
But most of Linux users use Steam in English. English users are currently 21% of Steam userbase, according to the latest data. Then we can easily calculate:
0.35 - 21
x - 100
x is 1.6%. That is Linux share on English language market.

Quoting: peterp771(...)Actually, I took some time to calculate that using data from Steam survey and the proportions method (https://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/proportions.html)
If the Steam survey didn't count the hordes of Windows users in China, I reckon the Linux share could well be around 4% by now.

It has such soothing esthethics! I really like that. On the other hand - Snakebird is way too difficult for me, so this game probably will be as well :D

Quoting: g000hBig fan of FTL here. Trying to get more of the FTL-style fix I have played Orion Trail and Out There: Omega Edition.Have you tried Convoy? Not happening in-space, but very FTL-like. Give it a go if you haven't yet :)
Orion Trail is 'okay' if you get it on a sale, and don't expect tonnes of replay value. I don't like how RNG is implemented in it.
Out There: Omega Edition is cool - I like it, but it's a bit of a slow game, and there are much more exciting things to play on Linux on PC. Noting that you can also grab it on mobile (and it plays very well as a mobile game).
Based on the review of 'The Away Team' I don't think it is going to be my cup of tea, but would probably pick it up heavily discounted in a sale.
