Topware said they will Wine wrap their games for OSX and Linux some time ago. They did so for OSX already, so it is time for Linux :) I'll be glad to repurchase Jagged Alliance 2 Wildfire, Septerra Core or Jack Orlando :)

An amazing game for anybody who feels like they aren't yet entirely bitter and numb to the world around them.

I already finished it under wine.

I guess I will buy it for a Linux friend who hasn't played it yet to make up for it
Yeah, same here! Would recommend to anyone!

QuoteOne reason I used to love Desura so much was their open source app, although that turned sour due to licensing changes for contributors, and now Desura is bankrupt so Itch.io is now my favourite smaller store.
I can also recommend IndieGameStand, no desktop client, but a nice alternative supporting Linux from the very beginning.

That said, I like itch.io as well :)

Quoting: hardpenguinThat would be a huge step backwards considered that SDL2 and Unity3d freed us from the no ALT+TAB misery of old fullscreen Linux games.
Correct me if I remember this wrong, but SDL2 basically handles all fullscreen games like a borderless window, by default. This is one of the reasons we have so few alt+tab/workspace issues. I tend to hear a lot of Windows gamer/enthusiasts much prefer this setting. I can see why.

This is great when you are convincing switchers if you ask me.
Yes, that is correct :)
