Send them a message and go play together ? I’m an heavy Steam user for many years, but i never think there is ONLY Steam in my gamer’s life. Vintage Story is an amazing game, it seems a bit silly not to play it for such reasons. It’s not like it’s on an other EVILCORP system like Epic, it’s simply direct, straight, from devs, to players, and native Linux (i would understand the "need" for Proton, but here it’s not needed at all).

Well, even Vampire Survivors sports the Steam tag for "Action Roguelike". You could say that survivor-like is a subgenre of action roguelike, which is a mash up of two other genres.

Neat although now I use Heroic Games Launcher for installing anything non-Steam (yes, even if I am sideloading outside of GOG or Epic).
