Quoting: GuestI wish I would have heard about it earlier in time to get alpha access.

For $40 you can still get alpha access from their website.

The problem with day 1 Linux is, I haven't finished the old one! Because I got sidetracked by other games. The luxury problems we have these days. ^_^

It's always a very good sign when even the pre-release stuff (the builder in this case) already works perfectly on Linux.

Also "Windows and Linux PCs". Someone will be happy. :D

Zero here too. And looking at those hour counts of those who played it, I should keep it that way.

Do I spot a fixed DVORAK issue there? I reported that for Shadow of Mordor. Nice to see fixes cross game boundaries.

Quoting: segulehI've tried "X-Plane 10" demo, but all I can see is Phantom cockpit, runway and endless sea all around - maybe I should try some seaplane.

That means that you didn't download the scenery for the area. I think the demo only comes with the Seattle area by default.

Quoting: burnallWish they used Vulkan this time to improve performance.

I did see a DX12 branch. That could be a nice source for a Vulkan port. Since this one has been in the works for a while, I doubt it will happen though.

Also interesting is that this one was added to the "soon" section of the radar. Still leaving two games "before" it in the very soon section. I think most expected the mars hint to be about this one, but that was apparently not the case.

Headlander, the new game from Double Fine Productions will not come to Linux

PS4 does not use OpenGL, but if the internet is correct (hmmm, now that I say this out loud ...) the api was derived from it.

Actually, it wouldn't be so bad if Metal just put in Vulkan in addition. I can understand the need for a stable slowly evolving API to run their GUI system on, but then it would all the more sense to let the games have the Vulkan driver directly from the GPU manufacturer.
