I've long marked the release date in my calendar... will be a busy and hopefully rewarding weekend. The demo was absolutely stunning.

Quoting: Jewgeni Filippowitsch IwanowskiI've been using ChimeraOS for a year now on a DeskMini in my living room, dual booting with LibreElec. It’s far from perfect, especially with an XBox One wireless dongle which sometimes isn’t detected at boot or doesn’t connect with the gamepad. But overall it’s the best solution for me so far. 🤷🏼‍♂️

For xbox dongle support download the xow driver. Set it manually as a startup script. Profit.
It indeed _is_ detected but not very reliably. I’m aware of xow and had used it before it was deprecated. So for me it’s just a minor annoyance with un- and replugging the dongle.

Ex-Zodiac is a fast-paced 3D rail shooter inspired by the likes of Star Fox out now

I have waited very long for this. Now that it's here I must admit it's harder than Starfox 64 - which I absolutely loved - at least in my memory. Not very hard to beat a stage, but hard to get a better rank than C...

Still love it!

Edit: Just found out that charged laser missiles can be locked onto different targets - made my day.

Quoting: ShmerlWhat is it using for big screen kind of UX?
Steam Big Picture Mode.

I hope that this release does indeed better pairing my Xbox One Gamepad. Apart from that it has been a nice experience so far. In the future I'd like to see native support for that Xbox One USB dongle as soon as the new kernel driver is mature enough.

It should be on par with currently competing Vega graphics. On AMD you get up to eight cores with a comparable power envelope though…

Quoting: GuestI'm sure this is a dumb question (those are all I usually have) but "it seems they will only officially support Ubuntu too" is going to be an issue with people who don't use ubuntu?
Usually the Steam Runtime abstracts all peculiar dependencies on any typical distribution. The developers just test on one distro to make their lives easier, I guess.

[off topic]Is it even possible to talk about modern transport vehicules and infrastructure in latin ?
[/off topic]
Whyever not? Surely it is the same for any other language as new words are created? You could say 'secum communicandi' instead of Internet, but most other languages just used the word, "Internet," anyway. Perhaps, in the realms of openTTD 'celeriter iter sinum currus' might be used to describe a mass-transit highway, if you didn't just want to keep 'motorway' or 'highway'
Well I say, the English language has stolen enough words from Latin over the centuries, we can certainly afford to donate a few back. Have "Internetus" free on us, Latin!
Rather internetum because it is neutral. Or just internet with consonantic declination.
