Nope, at least for the steam deck where they could compile it against whatever approved kernel is running on the thing.
Apart from "power users" most people will just run whatever kernel Valve delivers.

I've switched to pipewire on my system, using the pipewire-pulse lib to make sure stuff that only supports pulse still works..
It does, however feel a little bit like running wayland and all the apps being under xwayland...

Not reporting this upstream before posting it publicly on twitter is in very poor faith.
Hopefully the KDE devs will be able to resolve this quickly for KDE users out there.

Got this on this recommendation from GOG (I lumped up the extra cash from gog because I REALLY prefur DRM free) using the link in the article.

To resolve my wireless XBOX controller not being detected, I moved libSDL2-2.0.so.0 out of the 'game' subdirectory so my system one was used.
