It would be nice, if someone from GOG would say something about the status of Galaxy for Linux. Because is seems this is not the only game that misses the Linux version on GOG for that reason.

What a nice hidden gem. The narrative style reminds me of Never Alone.

Looks like a funny little puzzle game. The gameplay reminds me of DROD. I'll give it a try, I guess.

The game looks interesting. I hope the gameplay will bring back the good old Wing Commander feeling. :)

Quoting: hatniXCurrently I (and some other users according to the steam forum) have problems downloading the game. Steam currently provides only the bonus content, but no game files. If anyone has the same problem: Devs will give feedback tomorrow (says Kalypso).

I had the very same question already about Tropico 5. As far as I understand, it is the developer who decides, whether a linux port is made available on other places additional to Steam. And for the devs it is easier to upload future updates only to Steam instead of need to deal with other services too. And especially GOG-releases needs a little bit more effort, as far as I understand.

Quoting: ShmerlCan you please ping them on Twitter about why they can't release on GOG? They didn't answer that question on the forum.

I asked Kalypso (the publisher) via Twitter about a GOG release of the Linux version. They answered, it will only be available on Steam. :(

Quoting: Avehicle7887So far the games ruined by the lack of Galaxy were not in my best interest, this one however is, so hopefully it will make it to GOG.

Black Mirror 1 was one of the best p&c adventures of it's time. Part 2 and 3 have been very good as well.
And King Art already proved that they know how to make a great p&c game. Their artstyle is awesome and they have always so much love for details. I just hope, they can improve their QA a little bit, especially when it comes to the Linux version.
I can't wait to play Black Mirror 4. :)

The first one is an Adobe AIR application. So of course there are issues with the Linux version. ;) I played the Windows version of the first game via Wine and had no problems at all. If you like point & click adventures, then you definetely should play the first game.
