But I don't need any special month to be proud about myself. For me it's funny that somebody even needs this :-)

Quoting: CatKillerBecause I didn't saw anyone in the LGBT... happy, if I say I'm proud white heterosexual. For them I'm racist embracing the culture of enslavers, or at least this is what I see in most media today. People being banned or have to resign from organizations if they take this stance.Quoting: ZlopezSo if I am white heterosexual I can celebrate the pride month? Why wouldn't you?

I will probably go for AMD CPU when seeing how many vulnerabilities Intel CPUs are having right now. With ME as a little bonus.
Dark fantasy turn-based tactical roguelike RPG 'Iratus: Lord of the Dead' is out now

I felt the same way when playing it. It has really nice start and the difficulty is raising as you level up, but then you just get something that is almost unplayable. Never finished it because of this. I like tough games, but this was too hardcore.
I looked through some of the positive reviews and most of those people didn't played more than few hours of the game, which is explaining the high score.

Quoting: ExpalphalogWhat's the difficulty level like?
I got Darkest Dungeon when it came out and I absolutely loved it right up until the final dungeon where the difficulty spiked so hard that it made me uninstall and never play again. That game was tough, and I can handle tough. It slowly increased in difficulty as your stable grew in power and was very well balanced throughout almost the entire game. Then it suddenly went straight from "Only by careful planning, strategic gameplay, and a bit of luck can you beat this boss" to "The first minion you encounter is going to wipe your max level party without breaking a sweat."

Quoting: GuestYeah that kind of garbage game design, *ahem* "hard core difficulty", is all the rage with kids these days...
Darkest Dungeon is essentially a basic JRPG like Final Fantasy series without any real story, with a labyrinth to navigate, cool artwork and edgy themes, and tons of grinding and difficulty to make an 10hour game into an 100hour slog. And kids eat this trash like it is candy and rate it "best game evah" and "masterpiece". What can i say, perhaps i am just old.

I had a strange issue with this one. Instead of Linux version, it downloaded Windows one and failed to run with "Missing executable" error.
With help from the developer I was able to work around this issue by switching to Linux Container Runtime Compatibility tool, which automatically started download of Linux version. After the download, I just disabled the Linux Container Runtime and the game works without issue.
I have to say that developer was really helpful and replied quickly on Steam discussions. :-)

A new Steam Client Beta is up, fixing some annoyances for Linux users

I didn't have this problem since I started using Steam in Flatpak. Probably the flatpak doesn't allow the access to GNOME and KDE keyrings.

Quoting: NanobangQuoting: liamWith the Linux version of Steam, they've also now disabled the CEF keyring integration by default as it was causing prompts to come up for both GNOME and KDE desktops to ask for a password.
Is this is about having to re-enter my password when launching Steam every once in a while? I'm on XFCE and it happens to me often enough that I keep a shortcut to a text file with my password on the desktop.
I'm glad it's been resolved for my Gnome and KDE brethren and sistren. I hope the fix is the same for XFCE --- if this is the same problem, that is. If not, oh well, I'll just keep doing like I've done for years now. :)

The Proton is very helpful in this, I got a few old games with native port that weren't running and forcing them to run with Proton did the trick. At least we have another option to try when support for the game is bad or non-existent.

Quoting: ExpalphalogI didn't know you could force Proton on games with Linux builds. I'll look that up and give it a shot. Thanks!
EDIT: It worked! At least I think it did. I got an error about the language not being loaded but then the launcher came up and I was able to get into the main menu. You are a scholar and a saint. Thank you.
