Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia to arrive on Linux in June, after the Mac release

I think the main issue here is with the mode that is combining the worlds from TW: Warhammer 1 and TW: Warhammer 2 together (I'm not sure how is this called, but it came shortly after releasing TW: Warhammer 2).

I was never a fun of playing games/watching videos on phone, so this is something that doesn't interest me.
I don't like the touch controls for games and the display is too small for watching films. So I will gladly pass this opportunity.

The TW Warhammer is very nice TW game, but I never played the multiplayer. I doesn't have any friend to play with who owns this on linux and on wine it is unplayable.

Quoting: RichieEBHow is the multiplayer for Linux users, is it usually active at all or enough there in the previous TW games. Planning on getting TW Warhammer anyone know how the multiplayer is like on there?

I tried it on Fedora 27 and didn't have any luck. The vulkaninfo just saying VK_ERROR_INCOMPATIBLE_DRIVER.
I know that the vulkan is working outside wine without any issue.
I also tried the wine-staging 3.5 build provided by lutris, but had the same output.

I waited for this because I really enjoyed The Guild II and this looks like a good game using the similar mechanics.

Right now, this is mentioned as WARNING on their github. You can get banned with DXVK because it is replacing standard d3d libraries.

Quoting: CorbenAwesome stuff... did anyone try Elite: Dangerous with this?
Also looks like I'd have to re-learn how to handle wine ;) I was pretty comfortable before and got many games running with secret tricks (which are now on winehq of course ;)). But using dxvk in this stage seems a bit tricky and needs some effort. Looking forward to see further progress and play games on Linux where the publisher or developer is strict against porting.
I only hope playing games with wine and dxvk won't result in any bans or so, because the anti-cheat software doesn't recognize it properly.
