Been having a lot of fun on Stadia. It works automatically with my Logitech F310 and my Hori RAP 4 KAI which are both wired.

I've recently been learning to play games online since all local events are cancelled and having friends over is a not an option.
I played a lot of brawlers buy mostly from the arcades and computer scene and not from the home consoles eras until Raspberry Pi debuted and I started making home arcades then Steam came out with the DRM-FREE debut of SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics. I loved the Streets of Rage series from that and I also love the freeware Streets of Rage Remake. One of the main reasons I started using WINE back in the day is to play MUGEN and Beats of Rage. SoR4 is EXCELLENT. Works via of Lutris perfectly. This is going to be one of those games that is always going to be installed when I make a new rig or upgrade. Great job.
Taking advantage of their free trial and I am greatly impressed with it. Been playing this since Friday with 3 other friends and we are having a blast and very surprised at how good Stadia is overall. Don't care much for the quest stuff but the PVP is a lot of fun.
This one has to be the most fun game so far. Again playing it with 3 friends and it's been awesome. I've also gotten pretty far solo since starting on Friday.
My kids love Skullgirls so much that they have become masters at it to the point where this old man is lucky to some hits in while they practice dummy me into the pieces. We picked this one up awhile back when it was on sale. The game is surprisingly good for an indie fighter and the netcode is decently. It also works outside of Steam for those of you like me that want save all of their LOCAL MP games just in case.
Picked this one up along with my 3 of my friends and started playing at the tail end of 2 am to 4 am. It's pretty fun and again runs amazingly. The co-op mode is all for this one.
One of my favorite games of the series. I have almost all of the SNK releases that have come to computer (including the boxed stuff from the 90's and 00's) with the exception KOF XIV which just went to GOG recently so it's on my wishlist. Been playing this one online via of Fightcade and Parsec (Windows job server hosting). I've had some excellent matches with long time friends and met some new people in my area that were bummed about locals going down and go about 20+ matches going this week.
Don't own UMK3 but been using this via of Parsec to play with friends online and it's been great. I'm a sucker for MK 1 to UMK3. My wife loves playing this one also so it's been a game we play often as of late. I tried to get the linux native dosbox working with this one but could not get it running properly for some reason. Using default wine just works.

Zombie Army 4 is excellent. Going to see if my wife likes it so that she can get off of L4D2 and give it a spin.

So I signed up and have played all of the free games on Stadia via of the Chrome Browser on Ubuntu Mate 18.04.
It's not bad but I don't see myself being OK with paying $ and not getting binaries. I will say I did like playing Destiny 2 multiplayer mode. I do not like any of the other aspects of the game. No solo mode like other online games of this nature. Serious Sam is OK but I have these already via of GOG and so it was OK. I played some Zombie Army 4 Dead War, I like it but it seems like micro-transaction hell when you go into the game menus.
All of the games have visual tearing - not sure if I can get rid of that or not.

Streets of Rage 4 to be playable on Linux at release with Steam Play Proton

Yeah it lacks an online mode for all platforms via of the GOG version. I personally don't mind since I don't do online much but I am doing it now due to the pandemic.

Wait, the GOG version lacks the online mode?

Long loading on STEAM or GOG version? I've had no issues with loading. Been playing with my wife and some of my kids. Going to try online via of Parsec on Saturday night with some friends.

Quoting: ageresI've beaten the whole game, it works fine except for too long loading. I tried local co-op with two gamepads, it works too.

Works via of Lutris also with the GOG version. Played up to level 4 with 3 characters and unlocked 1. Game is nice.

What is required to get up and running with Stadia for this? I do not own credit cards and I don't put my payment information online. Can I sign up with a gift card that some $ on it?

I'm currently playing:
* Hotline Miami 2 - STEAM
Loving it. It's hits all the right marks for me as a game. Top Down Shooter. Great music. Fast paced action. Interesting story. Right amount of challenge. Level editor.
* Jupiter Hell - GOG
Loving this one also. I was a big fan of DOOMRL also. Again it hits all the right check boxes for me. Top Down Shooter. Great music. Not fast action but still just as intense. Right amount of challenge. Lots of replay-ability.
* Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection - Steam
Big fan of the Alpha and 3rd Strike series. Been playing this one with my usual local and friends online due to quarantine.
* Counter Strike: Global Offensive - Steam
Trying to get into this one. I like almost everything about it except for how difficult it is to get LAN up and running. I have to say that so far I've had a good time playing with random strangers online but I stuck only to deathmatch and ppl generally don't talk much during that mode in almost any game and that helps the online play a lot. I've not tried any of the other modes online.
* Left 4 Dead 2 - Steam
I like this game but the online is horrible. I've played this a lot but when I try playing with strangers all kinds of toxic behavior is present. Playing with friends and family is a joy.
* AssaultCube
This is a family favorite and it seems to be on the menu when we don't want to play board games and get tired of fighting games. It's always fun.
