Exit84 is a frustrating typing-platformer game where you move by typing what's on the screen

This looks awesome. I will add it to my rotation for my gaming event tomorrow!

I want to show these guys some support but I do not use Steam. I noticed that some games have a download option with the size showing but when I went to check out I got this message

"Depending on the game purchased, you will receive either a Steam key or a download link after payment is complete"

Are the games with the download feature solid and with no need for Steam?

Quoting: Guesti just realized that dark forces is on linux on GOG and i have it,that takes care of that lol

Yep, will certainly purchase, amongst probably about a hundred other titles on GOG, when Galaxy for Linux is out..

I hope Galaxy crashes and burns. Not interested in a client for Linux unless it's as simple as the itch.io client. Let me buy and install my games and get out of my way.

I think GOG did not make the right move by making that client. They should have made their "client" browser based - friends list/chat/game, list games owned - list game being played (optional) and call it a day.

Man. I would love to revisit these games on Linux. These were some of the games that made it a bit hard to walk away from Windows 98 SE all those years ago. I ended them and moved on to UT99 on Linux and never looked back.

RetroArch to gain a feature to improve input latency in the next release

Many people try to get me to use RetroArch but it seems to be hit or miss too often with the ROMs I play. Mednafen while limited is perfect. With the frontend Mednaffe it's even better.

Valve has removed the Steam Machine section from Steam

I think the best thing they did was make the SteamOS and the controller. I'm no longer a Steam user but the SteamOS was great for my time using it on my HTPCs. The controllers were awesome. I loved using it but in the end I sold them to those who were really into Steam because majority of my game diet is fighting games and I use my Logitech F370s and Hori Mini-Fighting Sticks 90% of the time.

Converting PC Gamers into Console-Like gamers is not a great move. But giving them the tools to game as they please will be more beneficial and easier to roll out.

The Linux-powered games console the Ataribox has become the Atari VCS

A part me is hoping that Atari taps into Pico8 and make it the default 'game'/'editor' to really bring that retro feel to it and also tap into creators.

Saints Row 2

Thanks. I've been curious about this game since they gave it away for free awhile back.
