Quoting: TermyWhile this is really great news, the most relevant part of this in my opinion is: how is this done? I hope we don't need to install some kind of EAC kernel driver or shit like hat?

This is why I'm in the camp that is happy for everyone else that will get to play what they want but I'm going to stay out of this.

I just want to play games, not allow software I'm not comfortable with in my hardware and OS.

Man. I remember being so afraid to format my Windows 98 SE install back in the late 90's. I have to thank PCFormatUK and iirc channels back in the day that helped me get my bearings and go all in on Linux. It has helped me enjoy computing at a time when I was BURNT out on trying to get Windows to do things my way. It lead to better con experiences, LUGs and a higher paying job and more.

I wish great things for everyone involved in making linux excellent and may they have 30 more years of Tux goodies to come for all.

I still own the original DOS version of Quake. It's one of the 6 physical games I did not sale when I downsized my physical game collection recently. I use ezQuake to play it often. Excellent game that still holds up, IMO.

This all look interesting but I can not get pass the steps to get this up and running properly on POP OS 21.04. Is there a demo file I can use to see if this is working? Something like the homebrew stuff for other emulators.

Quoting: 1xokBox86 helps to run the Stardew Valley installer. The game then runs perfectly on the Pi 400 thanks to Mono. Tested with the GOG version of Stardew Valley version.

Do you know of any other commercial games that run well on the Pi 400 without much effort?

I've run Flat0ut from GOG on Raspberry Pi 4. Runs flawlessly.
