I'm interested in a couple of the titles in the new Choice selection, but the rest are not particularly compelling. Still, I don't mind pausing a month and keeping the credit for another time. I've actually paused only 3 times during this year's subscription so far.
One thing vaguely promising to say about the bundle - Although my steam list of shame is over 2000 games, I don't own any titles in it.

I think one of the notable Linux deals worth mentioning is Starbound which is currently at its lowest ever discount, 50% off.
I also spotted Pine at 60% discount, which is another lowest ever. Mars Power Industries Deluxe is close to lowest ever discount, 45%.
There are some Proton choices which are good deals, but not planning to give them free advertising here. There are a number of Linux deals which I'm resisting the urge to buy, because the deal isn't good enough (for me).
7 Days To Die was my Labo(u)r of Love choice in the 2020 Nominations.

I've been trying out a selection of games titles, partly because I've got new hard drive capacity from upgrading my gaming PC primary hard drive to a NVMe PCIe gen3x4 1TB drive, and more space allows for more game installs.
One title I'm particularly enthusiastic about is Prodeus (closed beta play-test) which looks and plays just like a modern DOOM or Quake title, and the full game is due to arrive imminently. The closed beta has one big level and two tiny levels, and I've played through the big level multiple times already.
With the extra hard drive capacity, I installed RAGE 2 (Proton) and despite not being a native Linux game, it is playing very smoothly and beautiful graphics, as you'd anticipate in a modern AAA title. Saying that, the game itself has a pretty crappy story and aside from the FPS combat and graphics it is quite lacking in other areas.
I've finally reached the First Ending on twin-stick shooter Space Robinson which is a particularly hard game of this genre. I thought I'd actually completed the game outright, and was overjoyed, but the game ends and goes back to the very start, and expects you to play through all over again to get to the Real Ending.
Following on with my progress in Space Robinson, I've started playing Nuclear Throne which is another particularly hard twin-stick shooter game. I don't do myself any favours with these twin-stick games, because I play them with mouse and keyboard, as I've never been a fan of gamepads.
As usual, I've been putting in some gaming with 7 Days To Die (now it is on Alpha 19.2) and I keep on making the game harder and harder by adjusting the settings. My current game settings are ridiculously hard: Loot Abundance 50% (this makes the game REALLY hard), Insane zombie toughness, Wasteland Only biome (generated with Nitrogen), Zombies running during the day. Note that with my Nitrogen-generated World-map, after you complete the starter quests, the Trader location is not revealed and not having access to a Trader is another really hard impediment to your survival. The Wasteland is the worst biome, with zombie dogs wandering around (and they run faster than you), zombie vultures (which swoop on you as soon as you're injured) and feral zombies at night.

You may want to avoid Linux Kernel 5.9 if you want fully supported NVIDIA drivers

Good News: Nvidia's driver fix seems to have gone through okay for Debian 11 Bullseye (testing) on 6th November 2020 (Earlier than I expected).
Today I ran "apt update && apt upgrade" and the new Nvidia driver 450.80.02 was installed and it is working with Linux kernel 5.9.0-1 so I don't need to choose the older kernel option in my boot menu.

I found this Teardown of the new Pi 400 Keyboard - Well worth watching if you're thinking about buying the device. Note that this 400 does not have a regular Pi 4 board inside:

It's quite nice, but I'd rather use a wireless keyboard and mouse combination, and have the Pi 4 connected to a TV/monitor.
Also, on the subject of missed opportunities, I'm guessing it doesn't have a built-in battery, and I guess you need to run a software shutdown when you finish using it (i.e. You don't have a working power switch).

Debian 11 Bullseye (Testing) here and I had precisely this problem following my package upgrade about a week ago.
Although Kernel 5.9 is installed, I'm selecting the older 5.8 kernel in the grub2 boot menu, to allow my Nvidia drivers to work properly. I'm happy enough to wait a couple of weeks for the new Nvidia driver modules to be compatible with kernel 5.9, however I'd definitely prefer it if things like this didn't happen!

A reminder of some recent Linux game releases - October 2020 edition

As much as the disappearance of Serious Sam 4 from the immediate native Linux gaming arsenal is an annoyance - I'm not annoyed by the fact that games like Ion Fury and Prodeus (due out very soon) continue to take up the slack. I'm seriously looking forward to Prodeus (next month).

Quoting: GuestSerious Sam 4.
Oh wait, even Croteam who released the first Steam game for Linux, Serious Sam 3, is dropping Linux support now.
As you can tell, I'm not at all salty about it or concerned about the decline of gaming on my OS. :D
