The easiest thing to do if you're an Ubuntu user is this - Go to the terminal and type:
sudo apt install cpufrequtils indicator-cpufreq
(and enter)
Once installed you'll have a switch on your menu bar which you can set to "Performance" when wanting to run games and "OnDemand" or "PowerSave" when you want to run normal software.

Built myself a new Ryzen based PC for better gaming, and I already had a script which I was using for changing manually from "powersave / ondemand" to "performance".
BUT... I forgot to install "cpufrequtils" package which the script uses to perform its governor selection. Thanks to this article I've fixed this issue.
Noting that Debian 9 doesn't seem to have the indicator-cpufreq package which some Ubuntu users have mentioned on this thread.

I expect that a large number of people who would be interested in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire already own Wasteland 2, i.e. It isn't really a great incentive. Noting that Wasteland 2 has been in numerous bundles and sales over the past 2+ years.
RUINER is now in Beta for Linux, it's also an early unlock in the new Humble Monthly

They are quite annoying how they designed it. Sharing my findings again, for the benefit of others:
1. When your subscription is active you can get 10% extra discount off store purchases.
2. If you buy a Year's worth of Monthly Credits, like I did, then it is similar to the rolling monthly one (except you've paid for 12 months in advance) and you have the total cost you pay 1 month cheaper. And also Humble sometimes give away $20 store credit as well (which I took advantage of).
3. At any time, the Monthly, 6-Month Credit, Yearly-Credit can be paused. (You do this by choosing to Cancel the Subscription, and then Humble offer you a "Pause a Month" option instead. It would have been less annoying if they presented it as "Pause" immediately rather than this dodgy way of getting to the Pause option.)
4. After you submit a "Pause a Month", then it just pauses the active Monthly Subscription. So if I were to pause right now (and assuming I haven't taken the Early Unlock) then it would pause the current active one and then unpause for the next one.
5. If you take the Early Unlock, you can no longer pause for that month.
6. You can leave the Early Unlock (not claim it) right up until just before the Hidden Titles get revealed (which seems to be 1st Friday of the next month).
7. During this "unclaimed" period (you haven't claimed the Early Unlock) but you are still subscribed, then the 10% Store Discount is active (Cool!). So you can leave the subscription running until just before the Subscription's Payment date (which is approx 25th of the month) and then "Pause a Month".
8. Another advantage I've noticed for Subscribers - Some of the weekly Bundles give out $2 Store Credit when you are a subscriber and buy the Full bundle.
9. In my case, where I paid for the Yearly (12 monthly credits) deal - I'm expecting it to last me approx 2 years. Typically I would unlock a month (with Linux games in the Early Unlock), pause a month (when there aren't Linux games in the Early Unlock), unlock a month, pause a month... until the 12 credits run out.
Hope that helps.

Quoting: slaapliedjeI've never understood this early unlock thing on Humble Bundle. So I can unlock NEXT month's by paying early... but I'm already a subscriber, so if I kill my subscription, then pay for next month? what if I paid for a year already? Now I have to wait?

Very pleased with the early unlocks on the May 2018 Humble Monthly. Wanted RUINER and wanted Kerbal Space Program, but in each case they don't quite fit in with my regular gaming tastes, so I was only planning to grab them at a decent discount.
I'm a little disappointed about not getting the just-expired April 2018 Monthly - The reason I didn't was the Early Unlocks - I already own Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and the other Earlies - God Eater 2 / Mafia III were Windows-only. But, within the hidden bits of the bundle, I'd have particularly like Subterrain (on my wish list) and the other Linux titles too (Lara Croft GO, AER Memories of Old) but then it only had 4 Linux games out of 8, and I owned one of them.

I thought I might already own this in my vast Steam game collection. It turns out that I did not, and not only that, it is in my Wishlist. Looking out for it in a sale ;)

Yes, I got the middle tier bundle myself (Already own Superhot, so no point getting it again.) It is a great bundle for Linux gamers - Not only is every title on Linux, but every title is Steam key *and* DRM-free download (for those who don't like to use Steam).
Additionally most of the games available are very highly rated titles too. Win win win!

Yes, Valve has got around to putting it as a menu item now. I have just tested Steam from my regular menu shortcut and it is *now* going into 1x scaling. I then entered the Settings, Interface, and found "Enlarge Text and Icons" tick-box, which if ticked performs the 2x scaling and if unticked performs the 1x scaling. Perfect, just what I wanted.
@Lembritt - Maybe, or maybe just use the Settings option instead.

Quoting: EikeNote that people reported the environment variable doesn't work anymore for them. There's an option in the preferences, though.
