Tried out the demo myself for a few minutes - Finished off the tutorial. Followed your advice and played it windowed (and no problems).
It has similarities to FTL and I'm definitely interested to look into it further. I'm not generally an early-funding backer though. I'd rather pay for the game when it is out, tested and reviewed.

Happy that another quality game is coming to Linux. Would be interested in a Linux vs Windows shoot-out (average, minimum, maximum FPS) for the game running with Vulkan on Linux.
And... Happy that Feral are releasing another title to Linux with Vulkan. Even if big publishers aren't fussed about releasing games on Linux, as long as they use Vulkan then future porting or playing of the Windows version on WINE, should make things increasingly better for Linux gaming.
It would be so cool if F1 2017 (Vulkan) ran better on Linux than Windows 10 (Vulkan or DirectX 12). =P

Likewise, I have about 15 more games added to my GOG account, thanks to the recent GOG Connect activity.
I'm feeling a little sorry for GOG... With the current Steam Halloween, Humble, and GOG Halloween sales running right now...
I've bought about £4 on Humble ( "Steam" ), and about £24 on Steam, and £0 on GOG so far.
In case you're interested... (and seeing as I am quite the bargain hunter)... Here are the things I picked up...
Humble - Dying Light: The Bozak Horde DLC, Amnesia: Machine for Pigs (90% off)
Steam - Best of Klei bundle (got all the Don't Starve games/dlc AND the dlc for Invisible Inc, but missing out Invisible Inc which I already own), This War Of Mine: The Little Ones DLC, Age of Wonders III bundle - all the DLC at 75% off (but I already owned the game, so that wasn't included in the payment), Overlord: Raising Hell, Jets'n'Guns Gold, Orbt XL.
One thing that I'm pretty happy about and didn't know before.... When Steam has bundle promotions - Buy all these games and get an extra 20% off (for example) - If you already own most of those games, and want to finish off the missing items - You buy the bundle and you just get the missing items (that you don't already own) and you gain the full benefit of the bundle discount.

I liked the old name, sniff.
At least any games you haven't claimed (yet) are still on the new site, and your login details transfer over.

One of those "Sales Days" where I already have most of the games listed. Noting that there are 18 days left before the Humble Day of the Devs 2017 bundle ends, but the Humble Monthly Subscription ends in 9 days - So.. I am thinking this:
Wait until the new Monthly Subscription (9-10 days time), decide whether to get it. Will it have a Linux main title? Then assuming I get it, I'll then get the Day of the Devs deal ($9 top tier) and grab the freebie $2 wallet credit (which you can only do once you are on the Monthly Subs).
Approx 700 Linux titles in my Steam account, to date.

Big fan of FTL here. Trying to get more of the FTL-style fix I have played Orion Trail and Out There: Omega Edition.
Orion Trail is 'okay' if you get it on a sale, and don't expect tonnes of replay value. I don't like how RNG is implemented in it.
Out There: Omega Edition is cool - I like it, but it's a bit of a slow game, and there are much more exciting things to play on Linux on PC. Noting that you can also grab it on mobile (and it plays very well as a mobile game).
Based on the review of 'The Away Team' I don't think it is going to be my cup of tea, but would probably pick it up heavily discounted in a sale.

HITMAN - Game of the Year Edition announced with a new campaign

Chances are, I'll miss the elusive targets the second time round too. Can't say I'm very keen on time-dependent content. (For instance, I might get back into Hitman in 6 months time, when elusive targets have "escaped".)

Quoting: fabertaweAaaaarrrghhhh! I'm getting too far behind with my gaming. Slow down with all the good stuff :P

I was considering getting a Steam Link + ICEY game which is highly discounted at the moment. But, I wasn't expecting the price to double when they add Shipping on top. Still, worth mentioning in case someone else wants it. Noting that the game ICEY is Windows, not Linux.

I noticed a GOG icon at the end of the video, next to the Steam and Console icons. Does look like a pretty interesting release.
