Quoting: BeamboomI'm such a dull person. When I watched the video, I thought, "how can that guy scream "waaaaaaa!" with no head?".

If you had played the game and read their description, you'd know they have a boom box embedded in their necks producing the aaaaaaah sounds. Mental wanted humans to hide and cower in fear when they heard that sound. He/it/she found that it was really boring to have human soldiers blow up without even knowing what happened to them with the stealthy v1.0 bomb soldiers.

Quoting: razing32Just a hunch:
Think that's an artefact of older cartoons from the beginning of the 20th century.
Back then if people paid to see animation they expected to get what they paid for so a character sitting still would be seen as wasted money. That's why characters in old cartoons constantly bop up and down.
Think it carried over to character animation in this game.

Makes sense... with the popularity of Cuphead and the revival of early 20th century style. But its still really annoying.

Looks great, but I just don't understand why Chucklefish insists on having all their characters twitch like hyperactive kids all the time. It doesn't even look like they're breathing, they just can't seem to hold in place. It's quite distracting. It looks even worse in Wargroove, another game I'm really looking forward to.

Robot loves Kitty are a husband and wife team. They are only two people, so give them some slack. They always delivered on their Linux promises in the past and build their games specifically so they are cross platform. There's no "if" here, there will be Linux support, you can be sure of it.

If you want to know more about what they do, check their website, discord and twitch channels, they do development stream very often and are great when it comes to community interaction. Seriously, they are the perfect example of a small indie team that deserves your support.

I've been following them since the beta of Legend of Dungeon, and while I'm probably biased, they are one of the best small indie team ever.

I got it for really cheap in a Steam sale. It's a fun experience, but as was said in the review, its not much of a game. You really have to approach it more like a novel, but a non-linear one where you grasp more of the game's universe every play through. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but I'm glad I got it. Also the music is kind of nice and the developers reply often on the Steam forums.

Wow, great news. This game is amazing, I played it a bit when I had a windows laptop from work, and its been sitting idle in my steam games list for a long time now. Glad to be able to play it again, and with some luck, save games will be compatible and I'll be able to pick it up where I left it.

Also a fan of FTL, but so far I rather like Darkest Dungeons. It may be because I'm still doing low-mid level quests, but the game doesn't seem all that hard, and by thinking ahead you can deal with the occasional bad luck, after all these games are all about planning and dealing with strings of bad rolls. I did lose a whole team foolishly putting a torche in the shambler's altar, thinking that its a level 1 dungeon and it can be that bad. Yeah... sigh... heh. Otherwise, as long as you have a good healer or two in your team the game is almost a walk in the park. The occultists dish so many critical hits that they significantly lower the team's stress. It seems that vestal+occultist+occultist+whichever-warrior-is-available can't lose so far. Infinite healing, lots of crits, can deal with anything and will make quick work of the back row of any enemy formation, preventing extra stress.

I had completely forgotten about this game... but if I remember well, it was actually pretty good. Might buy it if its on sale real cheap one day.
