Exceptionally good game. I usually hate racing games, but this one is pure gold.
Modern Diablo game engine devilutionX sees new release, how to get it on Steam Deck

Yes, there is an option for click and hold.
Diablo 1 is a wholly different beast, the swarms of monsters are actually way stronger than you, so you have to use every terrain advantage you can get, abuse doors, corners, lava lakes, etc. All characters can learn to cast teleport, use that often. The sorcerer and the rogue should do a lot of teleporting. The warrior with a good armor can usually take more punishment, and since he's a really slow caster, chances are he's not going to be able to successfully cast teleport while surrounded anyway, but you should still abuse the hell out of doors and choke points with him.

Quoting: ShabbyXI remember I sucked hard at Diablo. I could never finish it. Diablo 2, I also sucked but at least I could get through to the end.
Then I played Diablo 3, which was rather easy, and so boring (500 yellow items to be identified one by one, each taking 4 seconds? What were they thinking?) So I decided to go back and play Diablo. Man, they had it *right*! Blue drops were so rare, it was so exciting to see one. You couldn't wait to get it identified. Same with Yellow items on Diablo 2. Diablo 3 just threw garbage after garbage legendary items at you. No excitement at all for getting them.
Anyway, rant over. I hope divelutionX doesn't force you to click the mouse for every attack :)

Yeah, as Avikarr said, customize it any way you like. I like temporal storms personally, they add some challenge, but if your fun is building nice structures only, then, yeah, they are annoying.

There are any great servers, my personal favorite is Aura Fury (this server is whitelisted, you must join through https://aurafurygaming.com/vintagestory), and a lot of players play on the Official Public Test Server, even though it says "test server" its a stable reliable server that has been around for years (operated by the dev teams themselves) but its open to anyone, so make sure to claim your base to avoid the occasional griefers.
There's some servers that are language specific (german, russian, french, etc.) and there's some long running servers like Mudwall, Conquest of Blocks and Vintage Civ. You can come discuss with players on the official discord (https://discord.gg/rXRVtZAz) #multiplayer channel and get more information than what I alone can provide and find the server that the best for your play style/tastes.

You must realize the game is a husband and wife team and its their lives' work. They have some outside contributors too, but they are the owner of the game. They can hardly "go under". Most of the game logic is already open source, I'm sure that if for some reason they can't develop the game any more, they will either find a new developer, or open source the whole game. This game is a labor of love, they would not throw away all this work and passion, they will make sure it stays available.

Another update, and here I am again to praise this game. Been playing this game for over two years now, and I'm still not bored with it, a hard feat in these days and age of games overabundance. Each update makes the game more and more interesting. The dev team is absolutely fantastic.
I'll repeat this again, this game is NOT Minecraft. Yes, it's blocky, and its got crafting, but that's about it. This game is very realistic and a lot more challenging. Each update brings *consistent* improvements, not random unrelated things like Minecraft. Also, they have a normal combat system, not the weird unusable timer based weird thing Minecraft calls a battle system. Add to this the lovecraftian horror touch and you are in for a great time.

Back 4 Blood gets a small update for the Steam Deck

The game is not Left 4 Dead for sure, the level design is nowhere near close to the masterpiece that is Left 4 Dead, but it doesn't mean its a bad game. It's different, but I have the feeling that in 2-3 years after a few updates and some balancing its going to be an awesome game. But its not a casual game like Left 4 Dead, you need to play it a lot just to build a good deck. It's really a game targeted at more hardcore gamers. I'll keep playing Left 4 Dead with more casual friends, but for our small inner circle of experienced gamers, Back 4 Blood is nice and we are having fun.
To put it simply, this should be an early access game at this point, its not ready. A very promising early access game though.
