I don't trust these devs anymore, since their latest game didn't have Linux/macOS versions on GOG but Steam did.
And its seems this new game won't be on GOG at all... so even worse.

But seriously, maybe you mean something else by "more gamepad friendly"... as "Improved Gamepad UI" is planned for the 1.7.0 release, so you'll have to wait a bit longer I think, to have the best experience.

Quoting: slaapliedjeBut DevilutionX already have gamepad support... Am I missing something?Quoting: Kronos_MOTAs an FYI, if you own Diablo from GOG and use Lutris, there is an option to install the GOG version with DevilutionX right through Lutris.Wonder if they could make it more gamepad friendly with DevilutionX. Then you'd have the best of both worlds, the higher resolution / zoom out of the PC version, with the gamepad support of the PSX version.
That's the way I loaded it and it set everything up for me.
Next I will try the same thing on my Steam Deck and see how that goes...

I agree with what others said, especially Purple Library Guy (who's surprised?).

Quoting: pleasereadthemanualOut of curiosity, what justification would you accept?Honestly: none. But this one is particularly selfish I think. Plus I don't believe your software have to be proprietary to have "exclusive right to commercial exploitation". You can make money from Free Software, and that's not necessarily a bad thing...

Not open source, so not interested... And the reasons given, seems too much selfish for me.
Valve moving away from the Battle Pass in Dota 2

So, same as LoL, but I never played Dota so I can't say which is worse.

Quoting: hardpenguinQuoteI actually played a couple of games with a friend on the new map recently, and it was surprisingly a really great time. The map definitely feels a whole lot better now and the game works really great on Linux too.Yeah playing with friends, preferably a full team of five is preferable. Unless you don't mind the toxicity...

Oh! More than 10 years after the first one, which was great! I'll keep an eye on it thanks, and hope for a Linux native too!

Quoting: scaineAlso, big shout out for Defender's Quest 2. Sadly, the demo is Windows only, but the developer did do native for the first, so I have high hopes.

You don't how hard I'm crossing my fingers for this!
Also... Diablo II would run on Amiga?!

Quoting: slaapliedjeI'm hoping Diablo 2 eventually gets the same treatment. Mainly because playing it on one of my Amigas would just be sweet.

Quoting: sourpuzAh shit, here we go again...Quoting: InstallQuoting: 14Too many Windows games. GOG doesn't help make playing Windows games on Linux easy in any way.Just scroll down and use the filter for linux games only.
Problem is, GOG's Linux installers are obsolete and haven't been updated in years, as GOG has officially stopped supporting Linux. Lots of the installers don't work. I mostly use the Windows versions via Lutris/Wine.
