A small update on the status of BATTLETECH for Linux

God... Again and again. (We need a Facepalm smiley Liam!)
And soon: "The Linux release is cancelled because of too many difficulties... Sorry guys but thanks for your money!"
All of their previous games are released on Linux except their last one "Necropolis" and it's made with Unity too...
I mean their 5 games are all on Unity, they should know these problems now.
If BATTLETECH won't have a Linux version, I think they won't be Linux friendly anymore.
But I hope Necropolis was an exception...

Fuck! And no DRM-Free build on Humble Bundle... :|
This time it's not just bad for Linux users, but for all platforms.

Quoting: Alm888It has left not only "Early Access" but the GOG store as well. :(
Just a quick reminder: never pre-order, never pay for Early Access. ;)

A GOG version could be possible?
I never played the first one, but it looks indeed funny.

Din's Legacy is the latest action RPG from Soldak featuring mutating characters

Yeah, I really like the factions's system, as in Drox Operative. I missed that in Din's Curse.

Quoting: GustyGhostDin's Curse wasn't as good as Depths of Peril in my opinion but maybe this can bring over some of those conventions.

Football Manager 2019 announced and sadly it's not coming to Linux

Like many of you guys, I don't agree with the Leopard's statement.
I think a buy a lot of Linux games (and Windows games too when It's old enough).
On GOG I have more than 250 Linux Games (nearly 480 with Windows games), plus some others on Itch.io or Humble Bundle...
In the other hand, I do understand some of your statements/behavior (Leopard), like pirating games from devs who don't care a single bit about Linux gamers (I could do it, but I don't). But I have to say that sometimes I would like to do it...
Because I buy games from devs/publishers/stores who have respect for us (Linux version, DRM-Free etc), but why bother to care about people who don't care about you?
The problem is, that's become an excuse for them to say "Linux gamers pirate all games and don't buy them", it shows a bad picture of a minority from a minority...
It would be simpler to understand that we want to buy only games from devs who support us. No amalgam.
Again I have no problem with that, but I understand why some do.
Yeah but you know, there are exceptions with that, remind me of Age of Empires II on PlayStation 2 for example.
And you can find games on consoles that fits better on PC...
But I don't think it's a problem.
And for Football Manager, I don't play it and don't want to (Football is not really my thing).

Quoting: LeopardStrategy games are not on consoles because of their nature.

Clone Hero and Frets On Fire X. I have some issues with FoFiX but Clone Hero runs pretty well for now.
I bought an adapter PS2 -> USB and my Guitar Hero 2 Controller works in both games!
For FoFiX, when I play the notes in-game I don't hear any sound (but the voices and others instruments are fine, weird), but the guitar.ogg file works fine in an audio player...
And the same files works without issues in Clone Hero...
I have many Guitar Hero Games on PS2, so I will try to get all the songs.
