Quoting: Purple Library GuyIn this, because the pictures are in boxes and there's no real representation of a space that the images might be in, let alone in together, I don't feel like it gives that impression
Ah, okay. I still don't feel like I agree though. It looks like a fairly standard left-vs-right jRPG layout to me!

Thought the art was pretty nice for static images, tbh. I guess we all have different tastes.

Quoting: Liam DaweEdit: reading up more on it, the developers Dinosaur Polo Club even apologised on their reaction to All Quiet Roads.
Yeah, they felt pretty bad about how they handled. It felt like a heartfelt apology. It's just odd that they're seeing another developer step into their space.

And you're right, I wouldn't object to the game at all, but calling it Mini Airways, whilst playing off that simplistic visual style is what is tipping me over the edge. This isn't inspiration, it's blatant plagiarism, I think.

That's incredibly naff though, isn't it? Emulating a developer's style and releasing a game that was probably on the original developer's backlog anyway? Feels like their "All Quiet Roads" controversy all over again.

Quoting: g000hAnd like a claw machine in an amusement arcade, ultimately quite a frustrating experience. Not so keen here, after trying it.
Just the trailer made me wonder if that would be the case. All deck builders are luck-based, but visually representing that luck like this must be extra frustrating!

Haha - it's a gallery of negativity. With only a tiny handful of exceptions - EA, Ubisoft, Facepunch all the kinds of developer you'd expect to worry about precious sales! Probably a strong cross-section of Denuvo titles there too.

Quoting: RavenWingsI´d actually prefer if the owning account always had priority.
Me too. I think they did it this way to discourage "out of home" families. If you're all under one roof, it's trivial to say "I want to play MY game now, off you get". But if that family member is in another house, it's less convenient. Probably moot in this day of instant messaging, but hey ho, I think that's what they're aiming for.

I'll never forget Sweeney basically saying that they didn't trust their own technology to stop cheaters. I really don't trust their ability to rule out EAC as the source of this vulnerability.

Quoting: RavenWingsIf I´m the owner of the game, can other accounts kick me out by starting the same game, or does the owner always have priority?
That's covered in the FAQ I linked to earlier in my comment:
QuoteWhat happens if the game I want to play from my Steam Family is in use?

If another member of your Steam Family also owns the game with identical DLC, Steam will launch that copy instead. If there is no copy with identical DLC, Steam will look for any copies of the same game and ask you if you want to switch to playing one of those copies instead, but your saved games may or may not work with different sets of DLC. If there are no other copies available in your Steam Family, you can either wait for the game to be available or buy another copy.
So there's no "kicking" - if you're the owner of the game, but someone in your family is already playing it, you either ask them to stop playing, or buy another copy. You can't kick them, and they don't get to kick you.

It was just a joke with no intent to polemize, but since you're asking, it's because I sensed a contradiction stemming from the similarity in the outcomes of "for free" and "piracy".
Fair enough. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, and didn't read your tone. My apologies.
