I got that this reply was a joke... but I definitely didn't get the first reply as a joke! Ah, the sweet sweet tone-deafness of the internet. Love it!

Quoting: soulsourceQuoting: BumadarThere are literally keys missing. They obviously forgot to mount those. They didn't even bother to assemble it completely!Quoting: soulsourceNot even a numpad? That doesn't make me optimistic about the quality of the device...
I did my best to see the connection between no numpad and quality and I can't, so please enlighten me.
(If that isn't clear, I am joking, and was joking when I wrote that other comment. Maybe I should stop. Seems I'm not good at it.)

I've been TKL (ten key-less) for over a decade now and would never consider a keyboard with a numpad. The width of those keyboards makes my gaming uncomfortable because the keyboard ends up so wide.
So I'm definitely interested in one of these. I'd probably end up getting at least one of those huge buttons too, to act as a giant "mute", as I do a lot of video conferencing while working from home.
Those dials for booking look amazing too. Very impressed with this design. Love it!
Hopefully they land for the UK soon.

Dave The Diver is my most-played, for definite, along with the new('sh) Kingdom Rush which I love. I'm surprised Dredge has fallen off so quickly, after being in the mix in May.
Lots of cracking titles in that list though. Still surprises me how many are super-intensive FPS games!

Brand and product launchers add nothing of value to the consumer experience. Absolutely infuriating that backward companies like Ubi and EA, or game-specific franchises like Rockstar, Frontier or Blizzard require them and think this is a good idea. It's just a thinly veiled excuse for telemetry, cross-product marketing and/or DRM.
Not gonna lie, if a game forces a launcher, there's an incredibly high chance I'll refund it instantly.

Just chiming in to note that the two paid DLC are just portrait updates, just cosmetic nonsense, and the third DLC is the soundtrack. There are two free DLCs so that you can download if you like - stories and concept art in the first, and a 4K texture pack.
None of these DLCs are pricey, none are required and indeed I have no interested in either furry portraits or anime portraits, so I won't be picking them. Pretty sure all the DLC was voted on by the crew populating the pretty awesome Koder Discord.
Definitely recommend picking this one up. Liam and I have covered it a few times now, but I'll say again that the atmosphere DeltaV generates is really engaging. The precision and newtonian physics presents a bit of a learning curve, but even there, you play almost like a point-n-click if you prefer, as there are "automatic" control schemes if you want them, and those can even be upgraded by buying AI or Pilot upgrades for your ship. I love the messiness of trying to precisely position my ship manually though.
Great game, and I'm chuffed to see it finally release!

The Discord has a "Suggested News" channel, or you could use the "Contact Us" form on the website. Maybe it'll be worth a new article or maybe just an update if the article is recent enough.

ChimeraOS 43 out now adding ASUS ROG Ally support

All of that sounds absolutely brutal and reminds me of everything I hated about Windows when I used it for gaming over ten years ago. Never again!
And one hour of gaming. Oof. Isn't this suppose to be a hand held console?
The unit looks pretty though so there's that...

Quoting: CorbenShort conclusion: it's a nice piece of hardware, and I guess the user experience would have benefited much from a SteamOS install. Too bad ASUS probably took a deal with Microsoft. So I'm looking forward to try ChimeraOS on it!

Argh! I'm about a third of the way through the IYL article on horde-survival and it feels like every week I wait there's another one to consider!
It'll be ready for the end of July though. Just have to hold out until then!
Picking this one up for sure though.

Yeah, I ignored this one for years after discovering it wasn't a remake. The original game was superb, particularly for its time - the opening scene, being lifted into the air along with your house, the sprit walking, the portal system and the shrinking/enlarging effects, it was all just incredibly fresh and original back then.
Prey 2017 was... okay when they finally removed Denuvo and I got to play it. It held my interest enough to complete the game, but it's certainly no Dishonored.
On another note - don't forget to pick up Roguebook, also in the Prime freebies this week. I love it so much.

I honestly think this idiotic naming convention is one of the big reasons it had mediocre sales. It was an AMAZING game (still my all time fav from Arkane) but I think a ton of people just thought it was a remake of the 2006 game. The former game was average at best, but when people saw the same name and looked at a screenshot and saw it was an fps, they just passed on it.
ho ho, that might have been the reason but for me it was quite the opposite - i thought it was a remake/reboot/continuation of 2006 game but turns out it has nothing to do with it which just makes me angry because i liked original game, so I just ignore it entirely. At least Doom 4 and Tomb Raider remake have something to do with original, Prey and Prey (2017) have about as much in common as Quake and Quake 2, it's just developer/publisher reusing their trademarks/copyrights.
