Shipping after over a year (JULY 2019!) of waiting and specs from the previous generation and not specified? I have to say that I'm not convinced. We will likely have Zen 2 / Navi based APU by then...
This device will be a major disappointment to everyone who will buy it to play Steam games in Linux... I wouldn't buy it for any other use as your phone can already do better all the other tasks (including Atari emulation). And yes, I did try to use Steam Link from my phone. :)

Regarding to some (but not all) cut screens, they are locked to 30 FPS and using lower resolution (likely 1080p), you can see that clearly when you're running the game in 4K. One of the examples is the starting of the snow scene (with tent and all) before Lara starts to climb up the mountain. Maybe PS4 and XBox One didn't have enough juice to run those cut scenes and the game makers had to make videos to cover it up...?
Black Mesa, the fan-made re-imagining of Half-Life just had an update bringing Xen another step closer

To be honest, I've given up with this game long time ago.. Unfortunately it has been crashing for me as long I've owned it. It's nice to see bug fixes, though...

Hey, does anyone know if the game supports VR in Linux?
I've also played the game a bit more and testing different settings -- on i7-7700K + GTX 1080 I was saying that game runs >30 FPS all the time on 4K all maxed out, but that doesn't seem to be true in all locations. I had to either lower the resolution to 3200x1800 (seems to be upscaled by GPU) or lower the settings to very high in order to keep the game playable in some places, including Syria when you find the lost city.
I can see why people are complaining about the render quality as I did try to play the game in 1080p and it looked both blurry and pixelated. In 1440p it was better and in 4K the game just looks beautiful.

I also think that the main reason to use beta drivers is to avoid those long breaks when loading the game and between witching the areas. Beta drivers seem to work fine, except of Tomb Raider 2013 doesn't seem to work for me anymore.
That said I'm really surprised how smoothly RotTR game runs in 4K compared to older Feral titles (except the oldest ones). The game looks really good with everything maxed out and is still all smooth and playable with frame rates almost never dropping below 30 FPS with GTX 1080. Also even that lowest ~30 FPS feels really smooth with almost no micro shuttering and jumps (which seem to be issue especially in Deus Ex even in 1080p and 60 FPS). As I said before, usually my frame rate seems to stay between 40-50 FPS, sometimes even staying at solid 60 FPS, which is all great with G-Sync monitor (and the game not being a shooter).
I'm already loving Vulkan; being able to use all those cores really seems to make a huge difference in Linux.

After quick testing with i-7700K / 16GB / GTX 1080 @ 4K / FXAA everything maxed out, the game runs around 40-45 FPS most of the time - minimum was slightly below 30 FPS and sometimes it was running even steady 60 FPS! I was using latest beta drivers in Ubuntu 17.10 after a reboot.
Well done Feral; but now I wish that my older Feral games ran as well... :) Both Tomb Raider 2013 and Deus Ex perform really badly compared to this one.

I've been really waiting this game, though I did get it from humble monthly a while ago. Not sure if it is enough to buy the Celebration Pack or if I need to buy the whole game, which I already own. I've had some issues on enabling the extension when I already owned the base game, but tried to insert a key for the larger package containing the base game.

Great news indeed! Feral has some really good games in the list, I just wish were faster on porting new games to Linux so we didn't have to wait as long!
